December 25, 2011 – MNS Exclusive from Sin City, Saudi Arabia – Mortimer Marmaduke Smedley reporting:
It’s official. Saudi Arabia has beheaded a woman accused of being a witch. The occasion was marked by the playing of Donovan Leitch’s famous song, “Season of the Witch”. Defying all efforts to bring Arabia out of the 3rd century, Saudi authorities went on with the spectacle complete with the afore-mentioned melody and free cotton candy for the younger witnesses. The woman, known as Voodoo Mama Fatima, is seen below in an artist’s rendering:
Well, there’s no accounting for taste.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Punishment, Abdel-Hooey Barabasol, applauded the execution as an example of man’s war against “really ugly women” and explained why so many women in Arabia prefer to cover their faces rather than go to the chopping block. No, the women in the picture, above, are not VW Beetles, but typical women of the Arabian Peninsula.
According to Minister Barabasol, Voodoo Mama, is now in Hell with Satan and his minions.
The details of the case are somewhat murky. It appears the “witch” would take money from unsuspecting clients with a promise to rid them of certain physical ailments. Her techniques were woefully inadequate and she was arrested for essentially “practicing witchcraft without a license” or “pretending to be a witch for profit.” Whatever the case, it appears that she was beheaded unfairly since the actual facts of the case demonstrate that she was not a witch, but a fraud. We will update our readers if more news arises about this most unfortunate event.
