Ma salama, Mr. fadel! Dear Sir How are you so sure that German Spec-ops, Electronic Warfare Technicians are on the ground trying to disable, Syrian Air Defenses?
Syria has at least 3 or more special commando divisions that are task to handle sensitive operations like this! further more The super ultra elite Quds force is on the ground along with Hezbollah. The Russians and their technical experts are assisting with air defenses and tactical logistics. Moreover my sources have advised me, that Quds force is training Hezbollah type militias amonst the Syrian People, in other words the Syrian people are taking back their country from these marauding death squad barbarians! Alhamdulilah!
ZIAD RESPONDS TO ANONYMOUS:
I concur that the Quds Force is presently garrisoned outside Zabadani with about 15,000 fighters. My information is that they have not participated in anything to do with the insurgency so far. I have heard unconfirmed reports that they have been training militias to compliment the presently-existing security units. We certainly hope this is true.
General Qassem Solaymani heads the Qods Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. He is part of the constellation of generals involved in protecting Syria from the Islamist jihadist killers.
While it is true Syria has a substantial number of special forces, these units are trained to fight against a conventional army invasion. To this date, no report has come in indicating use of these elite units against the terrorists. The units most used are the 4th Mechanized Armored Division which is adjunct to the First Army Corps near Damascus and the Republican Guard units based, also, in the capital. Other forces are the security services, police and militia. Syria’s army must defend her borders against any intrusion by Israel or Turkey. It is inconceivable that General Al-Fureij would risk security by deploying his regular troops or elite commando units against a motley crew of drugged-up terrorists bent on visiting a non-existent Heaven filled with dissolute table dancers.
Having said that, I believe that Syria’s upgraded border security forces are the best for ferreting out enemy surveillance units positioned inside the country. The use of dogs would be a wonderful multiplier of capability if the darn Syrians would get over this “phobia” about the canine. Which gets us to this comment, again, from Anonymous :

Ziad, I suggest dachshunds. They are small and portable and have an extremely keen sense of smell and hearing. They were bred to hunt badgers and rats.
Intelligent, curious, sprightly and, most importantly, a noisy pest, especially when in the custody of a neurotic Hamburg spinster. This animal would be a perfect aide in “shaking out” the irritating Brits; but would it retain any loyalty to German spies nestled in a spider hole? Hmmm. We wonder.
We will make sure to send Anonymous’ message to General Ali Ayoub, Chief of the Syrian General Staff. We doubt the German government will cooperate in sending these adroit beasts to Syria. We might consider an indigenous breed, the Saluki, for experimentation. Excellent dog also.
We also agree that Russian experts are giving assistance. They are keeping their presence very much under wraps, but, they are there. Thank you, Anonymous, for your comments. As always, I will forward to any remarks you make. Ziad
