FIRST POST – FEBRUARY 15, 2013 – NEWS STRAIGHT FROM THE BATTLE OF THE AIRPORTS IN ALEPPO; GLOBAL NEWS AND PROPAGANDA

REPORTS PROVE THE FSA AND JABHAT AL-NUSRA SUSTAINED OVER 800 KILLED IN FIGHTING OVER THE LAST 2 DAYS NEAR NAIRAB.

ALEPP0:

This photo taken in December 2012 conveys the high morale of our forces as they reassert their loyalty to the flag, people and government of our secular Syria.

Wael and Monzer both have contacted me concerning reports arriving from Nairab near the Aleppo International Airport containing lists of confirmed killed with identification – over 533!  The others are clearly foreign rodents whose identities may never be known.  The Syrian Army has thrown every asset cobbled together from army units formerly stationed at Al-Jarrah Airbase and Taftanaz.  Add to this a whole division from the Third Army Corps and the entire 4th Mechanized Armored Division led by Maj. Gen. Maher Al-Assad.  This will be the death of the American campaign in the North as our fighter bombers and Hind helicopter gunships make mincemeat of the terrorist mercenaries.  Wael reports cryptically that MI has intercepted numerous communications from terrorist enablers in Incirlik who have “suspicious Arabic accents giving instructions derived from satellite images”.

In the meantime,  MI has also picked up desperate calls by the rats north of the Aleppo airport demanding reinforcements as their numbers dwindle from the relentless pounding of our artillery, aircraft and infantry.
Militia and security forces are playing a back-up role by insuring all escape routes in all directions are covered.  There are no tunnels here.  Militia (some from the National Defense Force) are broken up into small mobile units which vacillate between fixed positions around known infiltration routes and kinetic positions to insure full terrain coverage.  General Al-Fureij has sent in the Orkin Man for this job.  It will be the lesson to never forget.

In the meantime, Wael confirms that over 17 Russian battle cruisers have moved from relatively stable mooring positions west of Tartous to northerly position around Latakia as a warning to any country about interference in the clean-up at Aleppo.

It appears the terrorist bearded trolls have moved forces out of major contested areas of Old Aleppo to assist in the fighting at the airport.  There are two airports here: the small Nairab Airport and the much larger  International Airport to the east.  The terrorists suffered a devastating defeat at Al-Safira (var. Al-Sufaira) where the SAA successfully warded off an attempt to commandeer Syria’s military technology centers and killed over 2300 rats in the process.  Remants are now fighting to the death at the airports to the north.

Here are the known dead grubs whose names have come to Wael’s office in Latakia:

Ghassan Mas’oud Arnoun
Muhammad Hussein L…………..(i.d. incomplete)
Ra’ad Ali A’awaan
Salem Ahmad Fouad
Rizqallah Qallab

Adib Muhjaahid Qarnaqoot
Hussein Hassan Bustanji
Riyad Qalam

Walid Wassim Marmoura

There are 6 Iraqis confirmed among the dead.  Wael did not send their names.

There are another confirmed 91 undocumented apes among the group.  I.D. will be difficult under the circumstances, their bodies being left for later disposal as fighting continues.

At Sheikh Sa’id in Aleppo proper, 7 terrorists were dispatched after they were discovered trying to snooker people out of their money pretending to be members of the security services.  No names available yet.

DAMASCUS:

The routing of the FSA and its Islamist allies in the Damascus area is beyond cavil.  The numbers are overwhelming but, also, frightening.  The cost to Saudi Arabia and Qatar in funding these monkeys is in the tens of billions of dollars.

At Al-Uteiba and Al-‘Ibaada, SANA and Monzer report the following dead bearded trolls:

Samer Dayyoub
Muhammad Hadidi
Mahmoud Al-Hajj
Bilal Qaalousha
Muhammad Dawood
Muhammad Kailani
Rateb Al-‘Annaz
“Abu-Al-Haijaa” (id pending. Identified by warbler)

At Douma Farms, specifically at Rihaan Farms, the following roaches were disabled:

Anas Ka’keh
Abdallah Injilaa (?)
Hussein Ayoub
Muhammad Al-Khadhraa
Imad Kurdi

The last three were members of the “Liwaa Al-Islam”.  (Yawn)

At Tall Kurdi, terrorist grubs fought it out over booty and managed to kill 8 of their own.  Names not available.

DEIR EL-ZOR:

At the Old Airport neighborhood, a continuing firefight has netted the following apes from the “Al-Khadhraa Battalion” (Yawn)

Tawaan (?) Al-Mutlaq
Abdul-Qader Bakhil
Jum’ah Al-Hijjeh
Ahmad Falaah Al-Eid

The last two belonged to Jabhat Al-Nusra.

IDLIB:  At Binnish, Special Forces attacked a bus filled with weapons from Turkey and killed all 5 rodents in it.  No names yet.

At Wadi Dheif, the persistent rodents continue a useless effort to evict a fully reinforced army checkpoing.  They were repulsed.  Confirmed fatalities without details.

‘ARSAL, LEBANON:  The illustrious Lebanese Army having realized that there were terrorists using its country’s soil, arrested a band of arms smugglers trying to infiltrate Syria. Of the 11, 4 were Syrian.

I have been promised a list of dead rats at Tall Kalakh.  I am waiting.

LATAKIA:  Dreadful day for the terrorist mercenary cowards.  A whole battalion was rousted by Special Forces and militia last night.  They dropped their weapons and headed for the hills of Turkey.  No details of dead.

Ziad, Your news is encouraging. However, I hope you check your facts very carefully so as not to hinder your overall credibility. 2300 dead in one place seems somewhat extreme, as no other media outlet is mentioning this. I do think your reports are in general in line with the trends of the conflict. Clearly, some of the western press has thrown in the towel. For example, CNN hasn’t run a story on Syria in a week except for the post on Faisal al-Maqdad’s statement that the Syrian government has essentially won the conflict. This is very strange, since for… Read more »

Remember, this is a national level conflict. Syria’s population is roughly 26 million people and the battles being waged involve substantial gains and losses which can only be driven by swarms of combatants. Of course you get the check point aggressors which are small platoon like units, but in dealing with major urban objectives, you need a large fighter base to fan out in positions to contain or obtain city blocks, intersections… This conflict is much larger than it appears in the media. If five percent of the Syrian population takes up arms against the government(for example, highly brainwashed Sunni… Read more »

Just for reference to my post above, there aren’t 1.3 million opposition combatants in Syria, it’s just an example of the population levels or specifically my math is incredibly off. There are publicly documented 100,000 active opposition fighters in Syria presently based on Wikipedia which could be or is most likely skewed. Still, at that number, 2300 is a minor note in this conflict.

He gets his information from people in the syrian army I believe, but not necessarelly a top general. And even a top general could lie. On the other hand he documented something like 250 killed/captured in Safira a few days ago.The 2,3000 appears to be related to Anasartha and Safira together, and I don’t know if it refers to civilians as well. Anyway those are good news, but the bad ones are that foreign fighters are still pouring into Syria and Turkey has hardened its stance and even shelled Syria a few hours ago, no doubt that they did so… Read more »

Article looks at intelligence gathered from captured FSA commander Riad al-Ahmad. Highly interesting read.

Regarding Al-Safira:

“In one of the videos published by the militants on the YouTube, a person who is filming the dead bodies of the militants killed in al-Safira admits that “the number of the martyrs amounts to hundreds.” He emphasizes that the Syrian army has attacked al-Safira with full force, including tens of tanks, armored personnel carriers and other military vehicles.”

Ziad’s numbers with combined operations could well be on target.

2300 dead on one place isn’t that extreme, just shows the Terrorists lack any kind of tactical ability.

BTW Ziad can you not refer to them as trolls?

That’s offensive to trolls, call them ‘Wannabe Microbes’ instead.

You’re right about the Western media not reporting these deaths; they will just coalesce these dead soldiers with the aggregate dead in Syria. They will base this information on some arbitrary predilection they’re given by some Qatari-funded buffoon. 2,300 would only be considered ‘high’ if there was a small insurgency of rebels. According to media outlets: Al Safira was supposed to be their attempt to thwart the government with overwhelming numbers and strategy. Remember round numbers like 2,300 are estimations; it does not necessarily mean exactly 2,300 have been killed. This isn’t my attempt to challenge your comment, but rather,… Read more »

Ziad, thanks for your detailed and encouraging reports.Still, mentioning the SAAs losses as well, would make you even more credible. For instance it seems the rebels shot down three planes on one day, which they prove with videos. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/15/world/middleeast/syria.html?ref=todayspaper I have seen videos on liveleak.com where you see many army tanks, APCs or other troop and material transporters ambushed and destroyed with IEDs, RPGs etc. It is not clear from when and where they are, although the notorious “Allahu Akbar” shouter usually names the place. Even if half of these videos are authentic – which I think they are unfortunately – I… Read more »

Agreed, SAA lacks of Infantry and still relies too much on mechanized units. I have seen a lot of videos, in which tanks were used as defensive weapons (f.e. Taftanaz). They stood there in line and the lightly armed rebels knocked one after another out with RPGs.

Ziad: I am sure SAA high command is aware of this fact, but do you know if there are plans to reorganize the army to fix the problem and focus more on Infantry?

To Nima’s post above, I believe the use of armor within urban areas is to protect infantry from snipers as they move the battle lines forward. This tactic shows that armor is a moveable wall that can deflect volleys of small arms fire and of course the barrage of explosive shells armor can inflict on enemy forces. It is a very aggressive tactic to eject combatants from neighborhoods. It’s a shovel pushing shit out of the city.

There is no way a lightly armed militia can beat a professional army. No way on Earth. Any hints of a rebel victory are pure fantasy. They may have a never ending supply of fighters, but a good professional army has a never ending supply of bullets. The Syrian people will never support such fanatics. The rebel held towns were turned into chaotic non functioning areas, just like in Libya. No one with any intelligence would want that for themselves, even rebel supporters. They will side with the government who can maintain order and stability. The fighting may not end… Read more »

Many of the videos posted by the armed militant opposition groups are highly suspect, for several reasons: 1. Civilian casualties INCLUDE opposition militants, but not government soldiers, so the bigger the number, the bigger the international sympathy. Because of this methodology of including militants, in fact, the larger this number the better! However, this is a major ploy to get international sympathy even while foreign fighters are added to the death toll as civilians. It is a strategy of trying to win either way: either they win on the battlefield, or they find a way to drag in NATO through… Read more »

Forget about NATO. Those cowards and their kriegsfuherer Anders Foggy Ratmussen know very well that Syria has superb air defences and even iskanders, S-300´s and Pantsyr. Any of those will be a hell for any stupid attempt from the western fascist forces, together they make it impossible.

There are also an impressive amount of fire power gathered by the Russian armada patrolling the seas.

This war is being orchestrated by NATO, you cannot forget them entirely. When they feel the consequences, they might stop. Until then, they are the “hand in the glove” of terrorism. Syria has failed to make anyone feel its pain, overtly or covertly. More importantly, tell the terrorists to forget about NATO, because everything they are doing is to try to drag NATO into a direct conflict. As for weapons systems, never underestimate your enemy. Cruise missile strikes, drones and stealth bombers are enough firepower to cripple the state. If Syrian air defenses were so impenetrable, cannons wouldn’t have downed… Read more »
