FIRST POST – MAY 9, 2013 – "OPERATION NORTHERN TEMPEST": ALEPPO BEING CLEANSED AS SYRIAN ARMY BLASTS THE RATS; RAT-STATS FROM ALL OVER; GLOBAL SILLINESS; AND WILE E. COYOTE MOMENT

AMERICAN MARINES IN JORDAN ARE TOO LIMITED TO ACCOMPLISH ANY RATIONAL GOAL

Souri Homsi was concerned about reports that the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) was taking up positions on Jordan’s northern border with Syria.  There is supposedly some news blackout about the deployment although everybody seems to know about it.  Which is exactly what the problem is.  In any case, it is a force of about 1,000 marines with highly specialized capabilities in anti-chemical weapons operations and desert combat.  A Pentagon spokesman said the deployment has nothing to do with the impending joint military maneuvers in Jordan with another 18 nations.  We at SyrPer think it’s all a canard – a red herring, really, designed to demonstrate to Arabian rodents that the U.S. is doing something.  Otherwise, militarily, it is a force which is far too small to accomplish anything.  Syria’s WMDs are not even close to the southern border with Jordan.

ALEPPO: OPERATION NORTHERN TEMPEST

It started four days ago as we told you and it’s in full swing.  Syrian state media claim that it started at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, Damascus time.  Our relatives in Aleppo tell us by telephone that they can hear “massive” artillery bombing to the north.  We have actual reports from Wael that over 250 T-72 battle tanks are massed near Hanano along with hundreds of T-62s as fixed artillery.  The number of soldiers in combat mode are over 18,000 which means that the force now looking at the trapped rats is in excess of 55,000.  We have confirmed the presence of the 4th mechanized armored division commanded by Maj. Gen. Maher Al-Assad along with over 10 regiments of Hizbollah fighters and hundreds of militiamen from Ba’ath Youth Organizations (Al-Shabeeba) and the NDF.  Syrian Perspective predicts that thousands of rats will be exterminated as the army pulverizes their positions.  This is what the people of Aleppo want. That is a fact.

To the northeast of Hanano is the Industrial Zone which has been looted and destroyed by Turk-supported rodents.  As we write, a pitched battle is being fought over this zone which gives unfettered access to the northern quarters of Aleppo where the scourge of NATO plague-rodents is mostly concentrated.  My wife’s nephews watched their factory in the Industrial Zone occupied and robbed by these great heroes of the so-called “revolution”.  Wael reports that 68 carcasses have been counted as the Syrian security forces pummel the rats:

Thaamer Rasheed
Muhammad Islaam
‘Abdul-Ghafoor Mustafaa
Rabee’ Juwayni

These are the only names available so far.  It is not easy to conduct investigation during this battle.  These carcasses were identified because of their proximity to SAA front lines.  More names will be sent as the army continues to roll over the rodents.

الجيش السوري يبدأ «عاصفة الشمال» لتطهير حلب وريفها من المسلحين

Huraytaan East:  Liberated by SAA with 28 rodents killed.

Salmaan Yaldeez
Muhammad Al-‘Abed
Muneef Nahhaas
Anwar Sultaaniyya
Mahmoud ‘Abdul-Hameed
‘Abbaas Khizirli
Khaaled Al-Adeeb
Ghassaan Al-‘Ashshi
Majdeddeen Hubballah

The rest are unidentified.  Many appeared to be foreign, Chechens and North Africans.

Ataareb:  Liberated. No details.

Kafr Hamraa:  Liberated today by SAA.  No details on carcasses.

Qubtaan Al-Jabal:  Liberated today by SAA with 7 confirmed dead rodents:

‘Awni Barhoom
Muhammad Haamed

The remaining 5 were unidentified, probably foreigners.

Baabeess:  Attacked from ‘Andaan at 3 points, with rats now completely surrounded and without any escape routes.  Wael says 2 tunnels were detected and destroyed.

Al-Rusaafa Cotton Gin:  A van was intercepted trying to reinforce rat positions inside the Sheehaan Roundabout.  No luck.  All passengers killed save one:

“Abu Hannoosh” (id pending)
Zayn Makar
Daawood Al-Ahmad
Faadi Al-Khaazen

Bustaan Al-Qassr:  3 hyenas killed while trying to attach a bomb to a car.  4 carcasses. No details.  Wael says these scavengers were torn to shreds.

Al-Shaykh Maqsood:  2 rodents die at the clinic near the Youth Residencies.  A nice cache of weapons was confiscated.  THANKS TO PRINCE FATSO OF QATAR.

Al-‘Aamiriyya:  7 rats confirmed killed.  Area still too dangerous to investigate.  Several wounded but no details.

‘Andaan:  Major offensive has begun to cut off last supply route for rodents in Aleppo.  Bustaan Al-Baasha, Hayyaan and Al-Shaykh Maqsood are all on the SAA’s menu.

‘Andaan West, south of the Al-Shahbaa’ Dam (Al-Shahbaa’ is the literary epithet for Aleppo).  SAA uncovers a multi-million dollar cache of abandoned weapons and ammunition.  So useful for our militias. THANK YOU, PRINCE PORKY OF QATAR.

Huraytaan and ‘Andaan road:  SAA and militia intercept a convoy of fleeing rodents and kill 16 of them.  Another 27 were taken prisoner and are warbling.  No details.  Some European rodents are involved, but everything is very hush-hush.

A’zaaz – Mannagh Road, SAA and militia kill 8 rodents and take 3 prisoners.  This is AFI and Wael says they still don’t give out details.

Nibbil and Al-Zahraa:  A mini-siege was broken by Syrian armor today at these two towns south of Aleppo.  The operation was militia and NDF.  Good show!!  NOTE:  At Nibbil, the FSA fired GRAD missiles for the first time indicating a new element in the war.  The missiles struck a home with innocent civilians inside.

‘Afreen:  The Kurdish Defense Forces fought a pitched battle with Jabhat Al-Nusra scavengers and killed them all.  Naturally, the Kurds are not big on details.  The carcasses have been cremated and buried to avoid contagion.

All told, the SAA and allies liberated 18 villages north of Aleppo according to General Turki Hassan in an interview on Al-Manaar yesterday.

Al-Sha’aar Quarter:  Terrorist Obama rodents executed a 15 year old boy because he was accused by them of insulting the “Prophet Muhammad”.  He was dragged alive to his home with his shirt pulled over his head.  The killers, Obama’s heroes, then warned the frightened throng and his two parents that this was the “penalty” for insulting the Prophet.  They shot him in the head and neck.  These are the Wahhabist revolutionaries praised by John McCain:

مسلحون متطرفون يعدمون طفلاً بطريقة وحشية أمام والديه في حلب
May God damn them and the fake type of Islam they practice.

SAA infantrymen celebrate the liberation of Al-Dhab’ah and get ready to move to Aleppo.

IDLIB:  The forgotten front.

In the city, security forces laid a trap for Jabhat Al-Nusra rat-leader, ‘ABDUL-QAADER MUSTAFAA at a factory west of the cityHe’s now very dead.  His nom de guerre was “Abu Saaq”.  I guess he could have been called “Long Shanks”.  Along with him, 2 others took the slow boat to Hades.

Jisr Al-Shughoor:  At the cork factory, the SAA corked 11 rodents.  No details.

Al-Jaanoodiyya:  Fighting and no details.

Bishlamoon:  Fighting and no details.

Haajj Hammood Farms:  Fighting and no details.

Darkoosh: ditto

Jiftallik: ditto

Sarmeen:  ditto

Al-Nayrab: (boring) They’re still trying to get into that Ba’ath Youth Camp. So tedious.  No details.

Binnish:  Confirmed 9 dead rats with another 20 or so escaping back to Turkey.

Jabal Al-Arba’een:  No details of fighting there.

Waadi Al-Talla:  Near Ma’arrat Al-Nu’maan.  2 killed.  Too dangerous to identify.

DAMASCUS:

Monzer says it’s getting better and better as the fighting appears to have both subsided and departed for other areas.

YARMOUK PALESTINIAN REFUGEE CAMP:  A large demonstration by Palestinians demanding the ouster of terrorist rats occupying their homes resulted in the FSA firing on refugees.  The crown was totally pro-government and wanted the scum to leave.  According to our source in Damascus, all the terrorists inside the camp are non-Syrian.  Many are Chechens and Afghans.

Al-Ahmadiyya:  in the East Ghouta.  4 IEDs with 30kgs payload.  Dirt walls destroyed by SAA engineers in this newly liberated town.

Khaan Al-Shaykh:  SAA and security killed these garbage worms:

‘Abdullah Al-Shamaali
Muhammad Turayfi
As’ad ‘Abdul-Ghani

Al-Ruhayba:  TEN THOUSAND ROUNDS OF AMMUNITION CONFISCATED!!  12 RPGS TAKEN IN BRAND NEW CONDITION.  THANK YOU, PRINCE PEDOPHILE OF QATAR.

Hujjayra:  SAA and militia put to death these rats:

‘Adnaan Yusuf
Muhammad Abu-Milhem
Saari Al-Ajwad
Diyaab Al-Zubaydi
Qaassem Ayoob

Al-‘Ibb Farms:  An IED factory destroyed along with these new inhabitants in Hell:

Muhammad Muhyiddeen
Muhammad Hunan

This is good news, Ziad.

You are correct about the MAU. A battalion of Marines won’t make any difference.

On an unrelated matter you are asked for an opinion on yesterday’s thread around 2;54 PM, I believe concerning a Moon of Alabama post about Hezbollah:

http://www.syrianperspective.blogspot.com/2013/06/first-post-june-8-2013-syrian-army.html

I wanted to throw in my two cents as well but I keep getting a caution symbol when I try to post. Could you check this out, please?

Hey Ryan. I must be missing something. While the victories in Al-Qseir and region are certainly vital to seal the rat supply lines from Lebanon, it appeared to me that their main supply lines were through Turkey? Ain’t from Turquey most weaponry and men are coming from? A few other things: why did the SAA allow for a number of trapped fighters to leave to Lebanon, even if without equipment? They can be rearmed and sent back to Syria. There must be some logical reason behind it but I cannot see what it could be. Another thing I don’t get… Read more »

Ziad, “Anon” on Saturday’s thread wanted to know what you make of this post by Berhardt of Moon of Alabama. I’m curious as well, so I’ll post the link and my reply as well. http://www.moonofalabama.org/2013/06/syria-hizbullahs-involvement-is-limited.html#more Anon, I read the same blog post. I would be curious to see Ziad’s take on it as well. My own take is that Berhardt quotes the Judeo-Plutocratic press for reference purposes. This is what they claim. If you note he proceeds to dispute the claims made with his own commentary. I concur with his views. In the past his analysis has been good. What… Read more »

Luca, I don’t know why they let those folks go. My own instinct is to at least hang the leaders and the worst offenders. I agree, this is highly questionable for the reasons you list. As far as the Palestinians go from what I understand the people there in the camp have asked that the Jihadis be cleared out. They probably weren’t too happy to see these guys when they showed up in the first place. It is just outside of Damascus. Hamas seems to be a case of its leaders preferring money over advocacy for their charges. It would… Read more »

I guess it’s not your fault that you should be so ignorant.

Lebanon is vital because the rats used to be shipped ALL THE WAY from North Africa to Tripoli, and from there they used to go to Qusayr, and from there to Homs. Now they can’t go anywhere, since Bekaa Valley is a no-go area (practically) and the border to Syria is cleared from the Syrian side.

Why let them go? They probably gave some important intel and if they should not leave Lebanon they will all die in Tripoli, anyway. The desert storm is coming.

The weapons looted from Qadaffi’s arsenals were shipped to the terrorists to ports both in Turkey and Lebanon. The murdered ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens appears to have been involved in gun running.

I can tell you that the supply routes from Lebanon are just as important as the ones out of Turkey. The talk about Hizbollah is pure nonsense. I have confirmed reports that Hizbollah is in Aleppo. Don’t listen to suspicious news sources. Ziad

Thanks Ryan. The Obomber administration seems to be about to start arming the insurgents directly, see http://news.antiwar.com/2013/06/09/officials-obama-close-to-arming-syrian-rebels/It is just amazing what a rogue country ZUSA is… what’s more, it’s IsraHell’s bitch and most americans ain’t even aware of it. Disgusting. While America goes bankrupt, millions of americans on food stamps and all, the US government, whose executive and legislative have been bought by special interests, particularly by the zionists, will waste money sending weapons to continue to destroy a country and kill people. I’m convinced that this war is mostly a war for Israel, like Iraq. Sure, each player has its… Read more »

As if sane Syrians would flee with the cannibals and as if Shias would steal houses, as if they don’t have their own houses.

They also make it look like Hezbollah and Iranian (!) units make up the bulk of the forces fighting to make the SAA look incompetent.

Pathetic propaganda, although some of their maps seem quite accurate with the zones of control in other areas.

Though the assessment was quickly disavowed by others in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition government, it reflected the difficulties facing Israel and Western countries in predicting Syria’s destiny and weighing intervention. Islamist Rebels in Syria Execute 14-Year-Old For Blasphemy, SOHR MO6PFJ6TTDSN June 10 (Bloomberg) — Islamist rebel militiamen in Syria publicly executed a 14-year-old boy for mentioning the name of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad in a way they deemed blasphemous, according to the activist Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The Observatory first reported Muhammad Qatta’s death in the Shaar neighborhood of Aleppo yesterday, and said it released two videos showing his parents today to authenticate it. Congratulations for the blog, a good way to keep us the people of the world informed about the developments in Syria, since the mainstrem media doesn’t report correctly on it, as they follow the US agenda.

Rest assured the war will be won, simply because it is fought against liars such as the US, Israel and Gulf States.
