FIRST POST – JULY 15, 2013 – 92 RATS SURRENDER IN HOMS TO SAA AND DEMAND AMNESTY;

Syrian army takes terrorists’ Barzah stronghold

A Syrian security officer to the right backed by an NDF militiaman wreak havoc with Obama’s murderous cannibal terrorists in Barza as the army sweeps the area clean of rodents.  (Alalam)

92 CANNIBALS SURRENDER IN BAAB HOOD IN HOMS PROVINCE TO THE SYRIAN ARAB ARMY; CONFIRMED! RATS NEGOTIATED SURRENDER ON CONDITION THEIR IDENTITIES NOT REVEALED TO PROTECT THEIR RAT FAMILIES

Syrian Perspective confirms the surrender and arrest of 92 cannibal rodents in Baab Hood yesterday as SAA and militia tightened their grip around the southern suburbs of this once-beautiful and historic city.  There are no escape routes any more.  There are no realistic ways to obtain reinforcements or resupplies.  It’s over for the rats.

Yesterday, at 4:00 p.m. Damascus time, the Syrian local command in Homs accepted terms of surrender from 8 units of starving rodents who disavowed their relationship to the Fake Syrian Army.  Without supplies and ammunition the vermin had no choice.  Their appointed negotiator whose name has not been revealed demanded only that family names of the surrendering rodents not be revealed and that they be submitted for possible amnesty.  Apparently the SAA considered the request.

Infiltration attempt from Al-Qaraabees to Al-Wa’er orchards met with disaster yesterday as alert militiamen called in assistance from nearby SAA units and killed 9 rats and arrested 5.

Al-Qusoor:  2 killed.

Al-Masaabigh:  No details about firefight.

Al-Khaalidiyya:  Mop-up resulted in this cockroach going down the rapids of General Ayoub’s toilet:

Jaaber Muhammad Abu-Ghilla

Jawrat Al-Shiyyaah:  NDF come upon a pack of rodents preparing to abandon positions and wipe them off the face of the earth:

Hishaam ‘Abdul-Qaader Salaama
Mufeed Faadhil Muhammad
Ahmad ‘Ali Silwaadi

Another 3 could not be identified.  4 surrendered.

Al-Hameediyya Village:  2 killed, 1 wounded.  No details.

Talbeesa:  Confirmed 7 dead rodents and 6 taken prisoner in a firefight.  Our Hind helicopters tore them into shreds.  But not some of their i.d.s:

‘Ahmad Salaama
Mahmoud Badraan
Sulaymaan Al-Ahmadi
“Abu-Al-Shabaab” (Id pending.  Identified by locals)
Rafeeq Al-Dabboos
Shaaker Bitinjaani (What an eggplant he would have made!
Muhammad Qirmizi

Bayt Hajju:  1 killed and 1 wounded.  No names.

Al-Rastan:  Almost clean.  SAA guns down filth using civilians as cover.  Didn’t work:

Basheer Al-Birqaan
‘Abul-‘Abed Mutadhaa (id pending)

Al-Ghajar and Keeseen: Fighting with no details.

DAMASCUS:

Doumaa:  A 23mm machine gun and lots of ammo for it were seized THANKS TO KING ABDULLAH THE ZOMBIE OF ARABIA:

Muhammad Nabeel Sa’ad
Dharraar Adeeb Al-Shaykh

Jawbar:  Lots of ammo and weapons including 2 RPGs ideally suited for vaporizing rodents traveling in cars:
We can confirm based on Monzer’s reports that as of today, SAA controls 85% of Jawbar with only pockets of rodents remaining for the Orkin Man:

‘Abdul-Qaader Kurdi
Muhssen ‘Abdul-Kareem
Muhammad Al-Shareef

In a second operation in the same area conducted by militia with SAA back-up near the Al-Manaasher Roundabout, these vermin took the slippery slope to Lucifer’s Rehab Center:

Muhammad Yusuf Makki
Jubraan Al-Ajwad
Subhi Muhammad
Hassan Khulood (Yeah! Right! An eternity in Hell.)

Harastaa:  At the Daayaa Air Conditioning Company, these overheated hyenas tried to grab a nap in the shade but was rudely interrupted by our militia looking for the same thing:

Khattaar Mulayhi
Husaam Sha’baan
Muhammad Iskandar  (suspicious id)

Al-Bihaariyya in the East Ghouta:  Roving SAA rangers came upon these scurrying insects:

Anas Haashem Al-Tukali
Ismaa’eel Saaber Mahfouzh
Zayd ‘Ali Abu-‘Abbaas
Mahmoud Ahmad Al-Baashaa

Another 2 were taken prisoner.

Al-Qaasimiyya:  Only 1 slinking rat was pithed:

“Abu Hamza” (id pending)

القضاء على عدد من الارهابيين وتدمير مدفع هاون في ريف اللاذقية

“Abu Hamza” lies with his hennaed beard in the hot sun of the East Ghouta.  How much would you pay for his carcass?

Daarayyaa:  More parched scavengers and snipers to down to Belial’s gripe:

Mustafaa Qarqoora
“Waa’el” (id pending)

Al-Qaaboon:  Those of you who are following the news on Al-Mayaadeen know that they have an embedded reporter with the SAA in Al-Qaaboon, and his reports are wonderful.  I have no details about the on-going rout in that area.  SypPer predicts complete purification in 48 hours if it hasn’t happened already.  Our reader sends this nice tape about fighting in Al-Qaaboon.

TITANIC ATTACK ON HALBOON AT THE FOOT OF THE ANTI-LEBANON MOUNTAINS IS ON THE VERGE OF SECURING AN 81 MILE BORDER WITH LEBANON.  NEW DISASTER FOR RODENTS.

SYRIAN PERSPECTIVE CONFIRMS THAT BARZA IS 95% PURIFIED, RATTEN-REIN.  MONZER TELLS US THAT THERE MAY BE ANOTHER 100 OR SO RATS STILL THERE BELONGING TO J.N. AL-QAEDA.  TOMORROW THERE WILL BE NONE!!

ALEPPO:

MAJOR ALERT TO ALL READERS AND THOSE WITH AN INTEREST IN ALEPPO!!

عودة العميد زهر الدين واللواء الضاهر إلى المفاصل الأمنية في حلب

Major General Murshed Al-Dhaaher, seen in this picture, is now the new commander of forces in the NORTHERN TEMPEST OPERATION.

President Assad, having been moved by the wretched humanitarian situation in Aleppo’s west and the somewhat snail-like progress of our armed forces in the city, especially after our efforts to clean out Al-Raashideen came a cropper,  has appointed 2 new officers to command the SAA, militia and NDF in our largest city.  The first is the Deputy Chief of the Syrian General Staff, Major General Murshed Al-Dhaaher, a pure operational field commander, and Brigadier General ‘Issaam Zhahreddeen, who will have actual tactical command of operations inside Aleppo under Gen. Al-Dhaaher.  Wael tells me that Dr. Assad gave them a target date to finish the job although that date remains classified.

Shaykh Maqsood:  Confirmed and counted:  7 rats killed here.  Only 2 identified.  The rest are known to be foreign.  Wael says that 1 is a Saudi officer who has not been positively identified:

‘Udayy ‘Abdul-Haqq
Subhi Zaydaan

Al-Raashideen:  Fighting without any details.  Heavy fighting.

A’zaaz in Northern Aleppo:  5 vans loaded with weapons coming from Turkey blasted away by helicopters and infantry.  Every passenger was killed.  All foreign rats.

Huraytaan in the Industrial Zone:  Jabhat Al-Nusra lost 3 litter-mates.  No id.

Khaan Al-‘Asal Farms:  12 counted carcasses strewn all over pistachio orchards:

Bilaal Abu-Al-Haajj
Ahmad Mukarram
Ahmad Hijaab
Sulaymaan Tawraq
Zaahi Majdalooni
‘Abdul-‘Azeez Susslu

The rest could not be identified.

Kafr Naahaa:  3 dead rats and 5 taken prisoner.  FSA types.  No details.

Al-‘Ays Village belonging to Al-Haasser in S.W. Aleppo: 3 more killed. No details. (SANA)

Kafr Hamraa in West Aleppo:  J.N. lost 21 counted carcasses. No a one carried valid id.

North Castillo:  No details.  SANA.

Yunaan, South of Al-Sufayra:  3 rat leaders identified.  No names available.

Central Prison at the Plaaka Restaurant and Miami Cafe close to the Al-Kindi Hospital:  Confirmed 6 rats with 4 taken prisoner.

Bani Zayd:  An explosion ignited by rats kills all rats in a warehouse while they were incompetently putting together British provided IEDs.  I know they were provided by Britain because Wael says our sappers can now identify by sight certain characteristics of explosives.  He would not give me details about that.

I HAVE MUCH MORE NEWS IN MY SECOND POST.  BE PATIENT.  I MISSED YOU YESTERDAY BECAUSE OF AN INVOLVEMENT WITH BISHOP LUQAA WHO IS NOW IN NEW JERSEY AND IS PLANNING TO COME TO THE DETROIT AREA.

Yes, that is the famous Druze General, Issam Zahreddine. He is notorious for his muscular physique and long beard. He was also very successful with the Republican Guard.

Could be although I was told he was Al-Dhaaher. The moustache suggests a Druze mountaineer. No? This is the way it came via SANA. They’re not big on accuracy. But if you folks want it to be Zahreddine, then so be it. Thanks, Ziad

why does the SAA release prisoners? They should do to them , the same way the city of Syracuse did to Athenian prisoners in 413BC. Put them in a stone quarry and let them starve to death.

I can see the reasoning for this on one level. IF you have Syrian citizens who got swept up in the whirlwind of stupidity, I can see them being offered amnesty. At this point anything to help deal with the foreign menace.

For foreign fighters? I would give them a nice beating, then simply work them to death rebuilding the country, or strap bombs on them and send them home.

Blessings and good tidings from your friend the Canadian Dirtlump (my unfortunate nome de guerre here). Great to hear the news, and to see the fracturing of the “rebel” movement feeding on themselves. I see David Cameron is backing away from this pandora’s box in a hilarious capitulation. One thing I must note though. Dire news. Apparently a new weapon on the rebel side has been developed which could be a game changer. See the video on link. Supreme commander Wile. E. “The wretched humanitarian situation in Western Aleppo.”

What humanitarian situation? Would you be referring to the food blockade? I don’t know, because you haven’t mentioned it even once.

If I were to give your war reporting a rating, it would be 3 out of 5 stars. That’s because you exaggerate the successes of the SAA, and minimize the setbacks too much. You have to give the bad along with the good. And the bad is that two million residents are slowly starving, and need to be liberated. For both moral and tactical reasons, and you should have addressed that.

This is a blog, not a news site. It is subjective and concise. If you want to address the humanitarian situation, then you should contact the U.N. and NGOs that have ignored it.

I want ZIAD to address it! I come to blogs like this because the only thing I get from CNN and the other alphabet cable news stations are a tissue of lies regarding Syria!

For two years now, I have wanted accurate reports from what is going on in Syria, and haven’t really got them. How can Ziad not report this obvious setback? It’s a good thing there are other intrepid truth tellers like Syrian Girl Partisan, or I would never have heard of it.

If Ziad was more neutral, he would be less funny and lose some readers. But for your information, I read 2 days ago that a large convoy under military escort was able to reach Aleppo. I don’t believe that they can block the SAA and prevent them to deliver a large amount of flour if the SAA goes for it. Bt they can’t give an escort to every local farmer who decide to sell his tomatoes on a specific day.

I have. I have told you we just sent money to our family in Sulaymaniyya. I have mentioned on numerous occasions. You might want to read the posts completely. With regards to setbacks, I just reported yesterday the setback in Rashideen. I report what I get. I do not get reports of SAA casualties. Sorry. But, that’s a fact and I will not make up casualty figures. If you need propaganda, please take a look at the Western Press. Boring. Ziad

On or about 14 Jul 2013, reporters and cameramen of Iran’s Press TV went to the Jowbar neighborhood of Damascus accompanied by Syrian army personnel. On 15 Jul 2013 they reported that an offical source told them that the army was in control of “more than 60% of the Jowbar area”. Press TV also reported that the Press TV reporters had to “run for their lives” in some areas of Jowbar because of active sniper fire from rebels in some areas in Jowbar (time 1:15 in the video). http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2013/07/15/313845/syria-army-marches-on-near-damascus/ Back on 2 Jul 2013 SANA reported that the army had… Read more »

The fact that you take a lot of time to assemble this kind of information into these posts kind of shows where you are coming from. Normal people with a busy life and who are plainly interested in reading this blog, do not have time to assemble all this info and compile it into a ‘subtle but slight anti-government’ posting. Either you don’t have a job, don’t have a normal life, or you have some kind of interest in the Syrian conflict. This is the Syrian Perspective blog. Parviziyi,

I had a swarm of cockroaches infesting a weekender I would visit infrequently.

The pest exterminator quoted on the job, on the basis of so much per visit.

When I asked why per visit and not on the whole job he replied.

The first visit will destroy 90 plus percent of the cockroaches.

It takes the same amount of effort to destroy a smaller amount every time, because they are not as obvious and they have more places to hide.

But from a practical point of view, even though I may see an occasional roach, I can deal with it at my leisure.

Regarding Qaboun: You refer to videos from anna news to “prove” that the army is stalled because of “ineffective shooting”, but you look over the fact that the same source stated that 85% of Qaboun was liberated recently.
Jobar: I don’t know if it’s 65% or 90%, it probably depends also of the “gray zones” where you have few snipers left who appear or who come back through tunnels. Also SANA (official sources) may wait more than a few days before to announce that a zone is truly liberated.

Commenter “jfb” at time 1:40 PM said: “SANA (official sources) may wait more than a few days before to announce that a zone is truly liberated.” SANA is the world’s number one best source for news about Syria. SANA is absolutely very good as a news source, even though the truth it tells is one sided. The key reason why SANA is good is that it is conscientiously careful to verify before it publishes. It has admirable scruples about getting its facts right (and it very rarely makes an error), and saying nothing when it’s not sure what it’s talking… Read more »

Except tat SANA is more boring than Ziad, it’s the soviet style. Their literal style is horrible, predictable,
“An official source told SANA reporter that the operation resulted in killing a number of members of an armed terrorist group”
“destroyed their den”
“The source pointed out that terrorists XXX and YYY were identified among the dead.”
They almost never give the number or the full list.
They are more conservative and careful, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Ziad has more readers in English than SANA.

My reports indicate that both extermination of rats and liberation are the prime directives. Our new militia and NDF are taking over areas which the SAA has cleaned out. I think you read too much into the videos. My source, Monzer, who is in the area, tells me that Al-Qaaboon is 85% cleaned. If previous experience is any guide, militia and NDF will take over clean-up and maintenance. We are also seeing failure of resupply efforts inside Al-Qaaboon and Jawbar. Seeing as my family is Antiochian Orthodox and not tribal scum dwellers from the Arabian Peninsula – I would say your assertions are as flawed as your grammar. Also, perhaps you should open a history book, as the Shia number less than 2 percent of Syria’s overall population; that’s if you do not take in account he Twelver Branches of Shiite Islam. Moreover, 2 percent of 23 million is 460,000. You’re assuming that Ziad is in the rare minority of Shia in Syria. Congratulations, you not only write at a remedial level, you also lack common sense.

Yes, I acknowledge – I should have said that the name is uncommon among Twelvers – not unknown. The more strict and particular Shia communities would be unwilling to use it – people like the ethnic Indian community. They are, perhaps linked very much to customs and the past.

I was talking about the first picture directly under the headline, its from the Tripoli clashes between Sunni and Alawite neighborhoods. I suspect it was largely a “photo operation” for western imperialist media like AP, AFP, Reuters and Al-Jazeera.

The guy with the mohawk and the black adidas shirt (no SAA or NDF uniform) is featured in most of those photos.

They have western weapons also. Sorry you misread my comment, i did not call them Anti-Assad Alawite. They are just criminals putting on a show for media.

The number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Jordan is continuing to increase significantly. On the other hand over the past three months the number of new arrivals per month has been decreasing. In other words, the rate of increase is slowing. The fact that the number of refugees is positively growing means the insecurity in Syria is definitely getting worse. To repeat: until the refugee growth-rate is zero or negative, insecurity is obviously getting worse. On the other hand the refugee growth-rate is trending downward, and therefore insecurity is getting worse at a decelerating rate, relative to a few… Read more »

I have a small problem with your site: Where do they list the refugees who “de-registered” and returned in Syria? Because SANA reported about groups of refugees who had decided to return in Syria. So nowhere they take in account an outflow that can offset the inflow? Once you are registered as a refugee, you are a refugee for the life?

@ “jfb” time 2:20 PM. You make a good point. The UNHCR does report some information on outflows, but it’s incomplete. They are under-reporting outflows, and also downplaying the outflows presentation-wise. And they have a tendency to hype up their inflows presentation-wise — not falsifyingly but still it is very clear to me that the UNHCR has an agenda of making their refugee figures as big-looking as possible (but not bigger than possible, not straight-up false). The UNHCR data is the only data we have. So we have to make do with it. But we have to be circumspect and… Read more »

@ jfb : On the Jordan page I linked to above it currently says:

“On July 10th, 10,707 individuals were inactivated in Zaatari for the following reasons:
– Absent from Camp/Current location unknown
– Bailed Out
– Registered in Urban Location/Registration appointment in urban locations

That’s a case of “de-registering” or “inactivating” 11 thousand refugees. But I haven’t come across a comprehensive account of “inactivating” refugees.

I do not trust the U.N. when it comes to the issue of Syrian refugees. Navi Pillay, a professional liar, has been deliberately trying to portray the situation as though it were worse than Rwanda. I don’t care because I get no reliable news about the refugee situation. I don’t factor it in to the military situation which is my primary interest as far as statistics go. I am stunned by the repeated attempts in the Western media to “confirm” a zionist raid on the yakhont missiles, with many different versions regarding this allege raid.
Could it be an attempt to twist the arm of Obama for a direct military intervention in Syria? Because if Obama was nervous about the consequences, dealing with the yakhont and the S-300, maybe Netanyahu wants to propagate the idea that Syria is “disarmed” and that Obama has no excuse?
I can hardly imagine that it’s not a propaganda effort orchestrated by the zionists, but there is certainly a reason?

All I can tell you is that we have people close to the area who heard or saw no such attack. I was not there. Also, the reportage is blundering and inconsistent. None makes any sense. I know for a fact that the SAA does not store any such weapons in warehouses close to ports. Ziad

Defense Minister Yaalon denies Israel attacked Syria’s Latakia arms depot.

Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon Tuesday, July 16, contradicted US claims that Israeli air strikes of July 5 were responsible for destroying Russian-made Yakhont SS-N-26 anti-ship missiles stored at the Syrian port town of Latakia.. Wiped out too were the system’s radar. The claims by Pentagon and other US officials were widely published by American and British media and Syrian rebel outlets. Yaalon spoke while visiting a defense plant near Acre.

Ziad above has a photo captioned “Major General Murshed Al-Dhaaher, seen in this picture, is now the new commander of forces in the NORTHERN TEMPEST OPERATION.

I don’t know if what Ziad is reporting is true and I don’t know if the man’s name is Major General Murshed Al-Dhaaher. But I recognize the photo is a still-frame taken from time 0:09 in the following video, which was recorded in late March 2012: (The Youtube uploader is a flakey dissident and his words of propaganda are likely false)

I believe he is Issam Zahreddine on the picture. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ismyiXXK_yQ JUST LOOK AT THIS. The mentioned video is false propaganda like the others.

Indeed it is Issam Zahreddine, a true hero, loved by all the troops and citizens for his kind heart and heroic acts.

My thanks to Maria for the link to the PressTV documentary. I enjoyed it. The soldiers chant “Bashar ou bas” at the end. They chanted the same in the video I linked to above. There are countless videos of Syrian soldiers chanting “Bashar ou bas”. These videos taken together are compelling evidence that there’s never going to be a “transition at the top” in Syria (as some ill-informed Westerners used to hope for, and some still hope).

I like this blog as its pretty accurate, more accurate than “rebel” sites i also visit to get an update on the Syrian War.

I feel the “rebels” are in big troubles as the propaganda from the mainstream media and other sites simply is beyond ridiculous in the last days and weeks.

News reports indicating that the American strategy is to support the lunatic Jihadis as well as the government of Syria so that the Jihadis under their affiliation of their different groups and the Syrian government mutually destroy each other. Is this what we are seeing diplomatically behind the scenes? It would do well for the Syrian government and the SAA to be ever mindful of this nefarious strategy. And recent news indicates more than 6,000 Isrealis are involved in some capacity or other in munitions and arms trafficking.

Someone has complained that Ziad never gives the SAA casualties (because he rarely has them).Once he did.On April, 24 he said:“Al-‘Utayba: COMPLETELY RAT-FREE. SAA has found numerous tunnels and shelters under people’s homes the rodents used to stay alive. No more. This is a crushing defeat for the slimy, stinking little vermin. Over 1,000 rats died trying to defend it, according to Monzer. We only lost 78 soldiers and militia.” I spot very few cases were anna news was giving it, except for the rare times where the SAA falls into an ambush it’s a ratio 10:1 an even 15:1.… Read more »

When I say focus on task at hand, I meant exactly that, events to lighten up the events on ground (be those Zionist directly, or indirectly, or one of the Local Pig kings…etc)

Good job, and keep yourselves! Rats are getting more and more desperate!
