OUTCAST COMMANDER RIAD AL-AS’AD CONDEMNS FSA, IDREES AND ENTIRE OPPOSITION IN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW

RIAD AL-AS’AD, DESERTER, TRAITOR, BOUNDER, FORMER RUNWAY REPAIRMAN FOR SYRIAN AIR FORCE, PATENTED KLUTZ AND WINNER OF SYRIAN PERSPECTIVE’S LONG JOHN SILVER AWARD FOR PEG-LEGGED DOOFUSES, EXCORIATES, LAMBASTES, DENOUNCES, DISSES, PISSES AND MISSES THE WHOLE POINT IN A DAFT INTERVIEW WITH THE “FREE SYRIAN PRESS AGENCY”*.

رياض الاسعد يفضح المعارضة السورية وتصرفاتها على الأرض

It was not all that long ago when he wore the mantle of the World-Swallowing Heir to Ghengiz Khan.  He was the Jihaan-Goshaa’iy (جهان كشائي)  He was the Liberator – El Libertador – of Syria.  He was going to set everything right the proper way, by slitting throats, incinerating infidels, vaporizing infrastructure – everything to get rid of those pesky Alawis who would not give him the rank of Field Marshall of Runways.

Now, being defrocked and after his own heroes managed to blow off his right leg in Al-Mayaadeen forcing him to wait in line for a German prosthesis while having to suffer the indignity of a Turkish peg-leg shaped like a matteh straw,  he has taken to the airwaves, naked like King Lear,  to denounce the Fake Syrian Army (FSA), the Jabhat Al-Nusra (J.N.), NATO, the Scarabians and “all that creates ingrateful man”.

“The FSA suffers from divisiveness in its ranks”, he puffed.

In a broadside against FSA Commander Super-Creep, Salim Idrees, he fulminated:  “There is discrimination in the way assets are allocated to our cadres.”

“The FSA has committed wrongs against our people”.  Yeah. Wow!

“We have failed to win majority support.”  Oh, yeah? Hmmm.

“The bleedin’ Syrian Army is advancing everywhere over the last year.  And the FSA has lost territory.”
Boo hoo hoo.

The spitting image of Salim Idrees, Dr. Josef Mengele, proudly gives a half-profile shot for the passport photographer.

“Anarchy is causing our officers to desert their posts!”  Talk about two-timers!

“We are seeing our forces Coming under the control of warlords”.

“The bloody Syrian Exiles have stolen everything.  They stole the FSA’s name.  There is no political leadership inside the FSA.”

“Money is the major motivator for the FSA soldiers”.

“Tribalism and partisanship now dominate”.

“The Syrian people are marching against us.”

So is time, Colonel. Why not get a job with the Turkish equivalent of Goodwill Industries.

Ziad could you please provide a detailed map of where everything is in Syria at the moment, like the one that Wikipedia does,,,we all really need to know the truth of where our troops are positioned and what ground the opposition has,,,I know things are hard for the Syrian Army fighting all these vermin,,but I question my self ,,if the population of Syria is 22 million and one would assume 1/3 can bear arms and 60% support Assad ,,,why cant this sizeable population drive out en masse all this scum,,and bring back peace to Syria,,,the longer it is left the… Read more »

You are being optimistic in wanting to field 3 – 4 million fighters, it’s impossible to train that many … you should have seen the map you are describing 90 days ago … nearly solid green dots then … incredible turn of events in the last 90 days.

Considering nearly a third of the regular army deserted (wiki) and the msm and cretins like Hague said only 6 months ago that is was virtually all over this has been a remarkable, but not unprecedented turn around by the SAA.

Thank you Sir for your most informative response to my naive question….One would almost think if its too hard to train 3-4 million ….why not train just 1/2 million only….. and then go and wipe out the vermin..yes??????

Anonymous asks “why cant this sizeable population drive out en masse all this scum…. why not train just 1/2 million only and then go and wipe out the vermin?” I’ve a couple of comments about that line of thinking, but not a full direct answer. Over the last week or 10 days in the Alawi Mountains area of northern Latakia we’ve seen an onslaught by just a few hundreds of brave and vicious rebels who have destroyed the security of dozens of villages. Tens of thousands of the local population have fled to the coast in fear — the local… Read more »

@parviziyi : You do understand how difficult urban warfare is? 6 months ago the regime was about to topple, and you’re complaining that now they are taking too long to win? As analysis points out (BBC) patience favors the regime, it is far better placed to win without storming everywhere and losing hundreds of troops from well prepared defences in the process.

Wars are not fought this way. NATO’s own poll shows Dr.Assad’s support at 70%. I cannot make such a map because I lack the technical skill and know that the situation is always in a state of flux. Don’t be depresses by the slow movement of change on the ground. Syria’s commanders are very adept and knowledgeable. The army is fully mechanized but can’t be everywhere. The rats are losing. No doubt. The Russians and Iranians know that they have bet on the winning horse. Ziad

Anonymous at time 12:23 PM said “6 months ago the regime was about to topple”. That is complete nonsense, and no well informed person was thinking it six months ago, nor at any time in the past, especially no person who’s politically aligned with the regime. The commenter “Anonymous” also made the remark at time 12:23 PM that I’m complaining that the army is “taking too long to win”. I reply No, what I’m complaining about that the army’s performance is substandard. I’m complaining that five million law-abiding citizens have been displaced from their homes by a few tens of… Read more »

A well articulated troll, he must get the “big cheaque”? Well the resistance shown by the brave SAA & Syrian people is uplifting and noble. As long ad there are brainwashed religious fanatics who get “outside funding”, the rat infestation will continue, more meat for the grinder then!

It´s time to take the bastard prisoner and make him sing on TV…

I´v heard that Menagh airbase is of no use to Syria, but apparently it must be to the rats, Turks and the Chimpanzee princes in Saudi Arabia since they have invested thousands of inbreed Wahhabi idiots on it? Is there a plan to use this place for reinforcements to some kind of simian “state” and if so, why havn´t SAA bombed the runways yet?

Mikhas.

The runways at the airbase are far too short to be used by fighter aircraft … the existing runway is just 4,700 feet long … useless.

Menagh was always used as a training facility for single engine PROP planes and a chopper base .. nothing more …

My opinion on mengh is the same as the jokebook-al-nusra’s efforts to mount an offensive in the alawite areas of syria.

They are for symbolic value to try to a) peddle some narrative to anti depressant addled westerners that the so called rebels are making headways and b) to try to give their increasingly low(er than normally low) IQ ranks some morale. As in any war, you can win the odd battle, but the end will be the same.

I do wish the wonderful Ziad would stop going on about heavy fighting at Menagh continuing, it could bring his other comments into disrepute. Even Muhammed Ali (Cassius Clay) didn’t have a 100% record. It’s how the inevitable setbacks are dealt with which is important.

My friend. The base was used by SAF to repair helicopters. It has no runways capable of accommodating civilian airliners or combat jets. The base is meaningless which is why Gen. Al-Furayj told our 300 soldiers to slip out and regroup to fight the rats on the periphery. Ziad

I understand Mr. al As’ad is rueing the fall of imperial china. His opportunity to be one of the palace eunuchs is sadly in the rear view mirror.

Given his missing plumbing and the fact that he is down 1 walking stick – his previous fallback career of being an exotic dancer in the red light district of riyadh sadly will likely never come to pass.

You really should do more to improve your English. I cannot understand any of it. What I do glean from your nonsense is a denial that your moron actually appeared on tv and said what I said he said. He did. I did not invent that. And please, stop showcasing your complete lack of erudition. It would be better for your family if you ceased to bring embarrassment and degradation to them. ZAF

@ Ziad: So, give us a link to a reliable source so we can authenticate what you’re reporting. Otherwise, you’d be asking us to believe it just on your ipse dixit. Which we know is not reliable. I was not able to find it on the Internet. Therefore I have to presume it doesn’t exist. This is not to positively deny that it exists, rather it it is to deny that there is sufficient reason to believe it exists.

Comment 12 Aug 2013. I found the interview of Riad Al-Asaad that Ziad’s post is referring to. It’s in Arabic at http://www.freesyrianews.com/news/details-645.html . That page has got a 16-minute video of Riad Al-Asaad in Arabic, plus a summary and transcript of it in Arabic text, dated 31 Jul 2013. Most of what Ziad reports about this interview is correct. But Ziad is not correct when he says that Riad Al-Asaad said “we have failed to win majority support”. Riad Al-Asaad said that some actions by the opposition had an adverse effect on its popular support in Syria while the government… Read more »

Ha Parviziyi
The entire British army could’nt stop a few intelligently organised cells of micks in the IRA from creating havoc in Northern Ireland for 30 years.

Difference in Syria is that the Jihadis and mercenaries have very little support from anybody except foreigners. Wont stop them creeping around at night like criminals and doing the odd beheading for you tube.
