It took a full 9 days and the deployment of a brand new strategy to accomplish the goal, but both Al-Subaynas and Ghazaal have been completely deloused.  What this means, if you look at the map, is that the FSA, J.N. and ISIS have no connective link between the East and West Ghoutas.  It also means that Al-Hajar Al-Aswad will soon be the target, an area to which the SAA allowed the rats to escape in order to encircle them for the last time.  With Al-Subayna out of their reach, weapons coming in from Jordan will be much easier to intercept.

613 IEDs were dismantled by SAA sappers.  The spokesman for the Syrian High Command stated that a very large number of armed terrorists came to this battle from many other areas.  What this means is that the SAA was able to deplete other conflict zones of terrorist mercenary rodents.  Monzer estimates that 220 or more rats were killed and hundreds wounded.  The actual number of surrendering rodents has not been made available, but,  Monzer says the offices of security personnel in Al-Mazza are buzzing.  It must be a large number.

With Daarayyaa now under the control of the SAA and with Sitt Zaynab controlled by militias loyal to the state, Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, and then, Al-Qadam, become likely targets for the next campaign.  Even now, as I write, the PFLP-GC has begun organizing an exodus out of the Yarmouk Camp in the expectation that the SAA and SAF will soon be exterminating rats in the Palestinian stronghold.  Damascus has been put out of reach.

A tunnel, 150-meters long extending from Al-Subayna to the main road linking up with Ghazaal was uncovered and searched.  Inside it was evidence of an “Islamic Canonical Court” and a torture chamber for prisoners.  In addition to this, there was a mortar rocket and IED factory, a field hospital with 11 cases of stolen drugs, tee shirts with logos like “Qatar’s Campaign to Relieve Syria” and others for the Jabhat Al-Nusra, Liwaa’ Al-Islam and Liwaa’ Hudhayfa Ibn Al-Yamaan.  Amazingly, captives were found inside who were liberated by the SAA.  Around the perimeter of the highway, SAA sappers dismantled mines designed to murder civilians.

‘Alaa’ Al-Shaykh
Khayr Shilla

Al-Bihaariyya:  Confirmed 4 dead rats and 9 surrendering to SAA.  No names.

Al-Dilya – Al-Qaasimiyya Junction:  10 killed in firefight.  No names.

Hoosh Al-‘Arab:  This is a major clash and no details have come out yet.  I suspect we’ll hear about it tomorrow.

A major general, spokesman for the Syrian High Command, announces the liberation of Al-Subayna on state television in a staccato, highly inflected Arabic.

NEWS AND PROPAGANDA:

This one’s a laugh-riot.  Read how the innocent Turks are not involved in smuggling Jihadists into Syria even after CNN blew the lid of this with video tapes of the criminals sauntering in through a variety of Turk airports:

http://en-maktoob.news.yahoo.com/turkish-pm-erdogan-denies-support-al-qaeda-syria-120145594.html

Leith sends this one about the pressure on the rats in Aleppo and the new developments with Al-‘Ukaydi’s resignation:

http://southweb.org/blog/syrian-rebel-commander-in-aleppo-announces-resignation/

Some of you might find this one interesting. It’s a tell-all about the fake Syria experts who get quoted so often by Western sources.  Suspicious is the fact that Joshua Landis and Andrew Tabler aren’t mentioned.

http://www.syriasolidaritymovement.org/2013/11/07/syria-analysts-impartial-not-likely-think-tank-commentators-posing-as-objective-scholars/

Adequately edited article attacks the Saudis SyrPer’s way.  Right for the jugular:

I dare suspect Russia has upgraded some MIG-27 & 29’s as well as tanks and other things, i am starting to see a fair bit of change from when the war started till now, tanks using infra red detectors is an example, many videos are showing tanks aiming straight at the terrorists cameraman and firing, then there are a few after firing and a lot of dust evident and are then re-aiming at a target , it is only possible via infrared systems.

Fascinating. Of particular interest is the MiG29’s range and carrying modified Yakhonts. This must have been a factor in Obama’s blink. Ziad

Whatever you say Ziad and fans. The Syrian border guards and air defence are so weak that Israeli warplanes could just land anytime and anywhere in Syria particularly in Aleppo, where the rebel’s general headquarters, control and command is located.

You are ignorant. You shouldn’t advertise that so publicly. If the Zionists could land in Syria they wouldn’t strike our target over Lebanon or the Mediterranean. Death to your stinking Zionist East European Settler State. ZAF

Damascus brought under rebel mortar fire, 25 terrorists killed near Homs http://voiceofrussia.com/news/2013_11_09/Damascus-brought-under-rebel-mortar-fire-25-terrorists-killed-near-Homs-9383/ “Armed extremists keep firing mortar shells at targets in the Syrian capital. The Syrian military is going ahead with its mop-up operations in the Damascus southern suburbs that were recaptured from rebels earlier this week. According to an Al Ekhbariya TV channel report, a tunnel has been discovered that was used to connect rebels’ bunkers. A shootout erupted outside one building, with a task force unit wiping out a group of militants hiding in the house. The servicemen set free civilian hostages that the armed extremists used as… Read more »

Iranians are running the war now. Assad has ceded control of his army to them. Weird situation to say the least. Syria is now becoming a western province of Iran.
