CONFESSION TO MURDER: SYRPER TRANSLATES TEXT OF CONFESSIONS TO AL-BOUTI’S MURDER; TURKS AND AFGHANS GO TO HELL IN SYRIA;

SYRIAN PERSPECTIVE TRANSLATES ENTIRE TEXT OF TERRORIST JABHAT AL-NUSRA CONFESSIONS TO THE BRUTAL MURDER OF SHAYKH MUHAMMAD SA’EED RAMADHAAN AL-BOUTI

The 6 rats responsible for carrying out the order to assassinate Dr. Al-Bouti are seen here as they are interviewed.  The format of the program was an edited narrative with no questions heard from the host.  The forthcoming is Ziad’s faithful translation of that narrative as seen on Syrian State Television.

“Damascus – SANA.

A group of terrorists belonging to the “Jabhat Al-Nusra” confessed to carrying out the crime of assassinating the Martyr and Erudite Scholar Muhammad Sa’eed Ramadhaan Al-Bouti in the Imaan Mosque in Damascus after after he (sic) received orders from the so-called “Abu Sameer The Jordanian” who occupied the post of what was called “General Military Commander of Jabhat Al-Nusra“.  He was considered the adjutant for Muhammad Al-Jawlaani,  the leader of Jabhat Al-Nusra.

The terrorist Ibraaheem Muhammad ‘Abbaas,  a commander in the terrorist organization called “The Islamic State in  Iraq and Syria” said in his confessions broadcast by Syrian State Television yesterday…..

“My operational name is `Abdul-‘Azeez and I’m an Iraqi national from Baghdad Province and my level of education is third grade in junior high school.  I worked in the position of Commander of Syria (var: Damascus) in the organization Jabhat Al-Nusra when there occurred a split between Jabhat Al-Nusra and the organization “The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Operational Name: ‘Abdul-‘Azeez
Nationality: Iraqi
Educational Level: 3rd Junior H.S.
Position: Commander of Syria in J.N.
Commander of Syria in ISIS

“Our ideological orientation is “Salafist” and after Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti criticized the operations of (Jabhat Al-Nusra) a first directive came to us from Abu Sameer the Jordanian who occupied the position of what was called (General Military Commander of Jabhat Al-Nusra) and who is considered adjutant to Muhammad Al-Jawlaani.  I personally received the directive from Abu Usaamaa to kill Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti in a “fatwaa” (id est: religious decree) from one called (The General Canonical Authority for Jabhat Al-Nusra) – one called “Abu Khadeeja the Jordanian”.

The terrorist ‘Abbaas said:  “Execution of the order started where Al-Bouti used to deliver his Friday sermons in the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus.  I sent a person called Mustafaa to pray at the mosque and stay there until the the sermon was finished to track Al-Bouti and to identify his car for me.

The terrorist ‘Abbaas added: “Mustafaa did what I ordered him to do and he informed me that Al-Bouti’s car was a Mercedes and that after prayers he passed through the Al-Hameediyya Souq to the main road.  So, I said the execution of the operation must take place in the Al-Hameediyya Souq.

The terrorist ‘Abbas said:  “I came with a person called Abu Haytham.  I told him that a person called “Abu Dajaana” was going to be the one who’ll blow himself up in one of the alleys near the Al-Hameediyya Mosque on the Friday after the prayers in the Umayyad Mosque,  at which point Mustafaa (who will join with Al-Bouti in prayer at the mosue) would initiate a telephonic call with Abu Dajaana and tell him “I like you”. At that point he would understand that Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti had exited the mosque in the direction of the main road.  The suicide bomber, Abu Dajaana,  who would be walking in the Al-Hameediyya Souq, would exit and, at the point when his car was passing, would jump on it and blow himself up.  This was our plan.

The terrorist added:  “I met up with a person called Abu ‘Abdullah in one of parks in Barza’s residencies and mentioned to him that the assassination of Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti would take place this way.  Then, he informed me about an easier way.  It was that Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti delivered a religious lecture every Thursday at the Al-Imaan Mosque.

“On the day which was scheduled for the execution of the operation and minutes before the Sunset Prayers,  I exited with Mustafaa from the apartment in which ‘Abdul-Rahmaan and Abu-Al-Layth were located – at that time Abu-Haytham remained in the apartment.  We went toward the Al-Imaan Mosque to check out the way there and to make changes in case there was a security stop-and-frisk checkpoint.  When we arrived at the mosque we hadn’t found a single checkpoint.  So, I told Mustafaa: you know your duty and I’m going to my apartment in the Barza residential area.

“Mustafaa entered the mosque and performed the Sunset Prayers inside it and he saw Al-Shaykh Al-BoutiWhen he began to give the lesson, Mustafaa contacted Abu Haytham and told him that: `the matter is going the way we want it; and there is no search and the road is clear and secure’.

The terrorist ‘Abbaas continued:  “After a while, Mustafaa made contact and said to me: `we have undertaken our duty and the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana blew himself up on Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti, but, the result is unknown.”  After a few minutes, Abu Haytham gave me the same information.  After some time, I learned from the media of Al-Bouti’s death and when I spoke to Abu Usaamaa and gave him the good news about the operation’s success, he expressed jubilation at the deaths of Al-Bouti and those who were with him who went there to learn from him.”

The terrorist ‘Abbaas added:  “I met the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana in ‘Abdul-Rahmaan’s apartment and apprised him that our task had changed.  Instead of Al-Bouti’s assassination in his car in the Al-Hameediyya Souq, we decided to assassinate him in the Al-Imaan Mosque.  He protested doing the operation in the mosque among praying people.  But when I told him that the one called Abu Khadeeja the Jordanian who was named the “Canonical Authority for Jabhat Al-Nusra” had sanctioned the matter for us, he agreed.”

The terrorist ‘Abbaas said:  “The Jabhat Al-Nusra organization did not take credit for the operation for the reason it didn’t find acceptance from the Syrian people because the one who was killed was a shaykh; the explosion was in a mosque and many of the attending flock were sacrificed.”

For his part, the terrorist ‘Alaa` Al-Deen Muhammad Qattaash, the commander  of what was called “the Security Detachment in the Rukneddeen Area” which belonged to Jabhat Al-Nusra said….”My operational name is Abu Haytham.  I am from Damascus Province.  I attained the third grade in high school.  I was a sales agent and joined Jabhat Al-Nusra and worked in it as Commander of Rukneddeen Area Detachment.

“The terrorist Qattaash added:  “The order to assassinate Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti came to us by way of the commander Abu Usaamaa the Iraqi who apprised commander ‘Abdul-‘Azeez that it was necessary to assassinate Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti.  So, ‘Abdul-‘Azeez informed us about the matter and we, as security people in Damascus, tasked Mustafaa with surveilling Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti during his prayers in the Umayyad Mosque every Friday.  Mustafaa carried out the orders and performed prayers behind Al-Bouti.  He cased the road that he exited by way of the Al-Hameediyya Souq to the main road.  We were informed that the operation would take place in that area.”

Name: ‘Alaa` Al-Deen Qattaash
Operational name: Abu Haytham
Nationality: Syrian
Educational level: 3rd high school
Position: Commander of Rukneddeen Detachment in Jabhat Al-Nusra

“I got to know the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana through Mustafaa when we agreed to meet in front of the Umayyad Mosque – I, commander ‘Abdul-‘Azeez, Mustafaa and the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana (who was going to blow himself up -and he is Syrian) – all of us walked on Al-Hameediyya road to check it out.  We decided that the operation would take place at Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti’s car when he exited the mosque and we selected one of the alleyways that directly gave on to the Al-Hameediyya Road.

“When we returned to the apartment, we received a datum from Abu ‘Abdullah the Palestinian that Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti prays in the Al-Imaan Mosque and conducts classes there between the Evening Prayers and supper.  This day was a Thursday, the 21st of last March.  So, the plan to assassinate which was to take place on Friday was deleted and it became that same Thursday by way of the item of information which came to us.

So, the terrorist Qattaash made clear that the commander ‘Abdul ‘Azeez informed him that the assassination operation was to take place on Thursday in the Al-Imaan Mosque:

“So, we tasked Mustafaa with performing the Evening Prayer behind Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti in order to monitor the security situation outside and inside the mosque in addition to the road from the apartment in Al-Suwayqa to the mosque by foot – coming and going.

“I was seated with ‘Abdul-‘Azeez, the suicide bomber Abu DajaanaAbu Al-Layth and ‘Abdul-Rahmaan in the Al-Suwayqa apartment talking about the operation.  We waited for Mustafaa to perform the Sunset Prayers behind Al-Bouti – the supper – and then he would give us the final order through a telephone call that the conditions were good – the roads did not have security men – entry to the mosque was without any frisking or it was light frisking – in order to know the way into the area.

“Mustafaa informed me the conditions were moving well after he finished prayers in the Al-Imaan Mosque.  He left and demanded we hurry so that we could be there between the Sunset Prayers and supper before the lesson was completed.  I got up and started to prepare the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana.  I strapped  his belt on him and left the apartment with him.  We traversed Al-Suwayqa-Al-Hameediyya Road and the Al-Khujaa Souq until we arrived at the Al-Imaan Mosque.  During our walk, we met up with Mustafaa who informed me that he was going to use the rear door because it had no guards and we would be able to enter it without any search.  And, there were no guards  or security vehicles at the front door who were responsible for guarding Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti.

“I walked with the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana up to the door and asked him if he was ready.  He said he was ready.  So, I ordered him to unfasten the safety-locks on the exploding belt which he did.  I got him to the door and he went in.  I exited in the direction of the other side of the street and waited for the sound of the explosion.  The assassination operation was completed when, after a few minutes, I heard the explosion.  I knew that Abu Dajaana blew himself up in the mosque and communicated that to commander ‘Abdul-‘Azeez – that the operation was performed – but we don’t know if Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti was killed or not.

“I informed Mustafaa about the operation and met up with him.  We returned to the Al-Suwayqa apartment together and we asked the guys who were there about what happened.  We also informed them that the operation went off but that we would wait until the Emirate claimed official responsibility for it.  Orders came from commander ‘Abdul-‘Azeez to not inform anyone about it until the Emirate adopted the operation officially.  I left the home with Mustafaa after which time we heard that Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti was killed via the media.  At that time we knew the operation and Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti’s death were completed.

The terrorist Qattaash added: “There was a problem inside the mosque.  Commander Abu-Usaamaa apprised Abu Khadeeja the Jordanian that the explosion would take place inside the sanctum of the Al-Imaan Mosque.  So, he issued a fatwaa regarding that and the killing of the persons who were in the mosque because they were adherents of Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti and followed his thoughts which were supportive of  the “regime”.

“I had differences with Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti, but, I used to sometimes listen to his lessons on television.”

The terrorist Usaamaa ‘Abdul-Fattaah ‘Abdul-Haadi, commander of what was called “Al-Mazza Area Detachment” which belonged to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, said:

20131222-013052.jpg

Name: Usaamaa ‘Abdul-Fattaah ‘Abdul-Haadi
Operational Name: Abu ‘Abdullah
Nationality: Palestinian
Educational Level: 3rd grade h.s.
Position: Commander of Al-Mazza Area Detachment of ISIS

“My operational name is Abu ‘Abdullah. I’m Palestinian by nationality.  I studied until the 3rd grade in high school.  I used to work as a tailor.  I joined the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria organization during the dispute between it and Jabhat Al-Nusra.  I operated as commander of the Al-Mazza Area.

“I met ‘Abdul-‘Azeez in Barza residencies, in a public park, and he told me they had a big operation on Friday.  I asked him about the details.  He told me there was a suicide bomber who was going to explode himself on Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti’s car inside an alley in the Al-Hameediyya Souq.  So, I said to him, why would you take it upon yourself to do an operation which might or might not succeed?  In addition to the problem of protection, the car might be armored.  He informed me that Mustafaa saw the car on Friday and it’s not armored.  I responded that the car might be armored and the operation would fail.

“I told ‘Abdul-‘Azeez that Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti gave lessons on both Mondays and Thursdays in the Al-Imaan Mosque and that I attended a class when I was passing by near the Al-Imaan Mosque – so why don’t you send some one to ascertain that he’s there and make a newer, easier plan.  On this basis, he changed the plan that you (sic) prepared.

“When I heard that Abu Khadeeja the Jordanian (Judge of Canon Law for the East Ghoutaa) issued a fatwaa on this subject, I was silenced and only listened in obedience.  And when I heard of the assassination of Al-Shaykh Al-Bouti, I supported the idea in general and in all details.

The terrorist Faysal Ghaazi Hussayn Al-Shibli, a member of the terrorist Jabhat Al-Nusra, said:

“My operational name is ‘Abdul-Rahmaan and I’m from Dayr El-Zor Province, area of Al-Mayaadeen and I study at the private International Syrian University as a 5th year student in petroleum engineering.  I joined the Jabhat Al-Nusra and worked in the Al-‘Ammaara Detachment and I’m a follower of Commander Abu Maalek.

“I rented a house in the Al-Suwayqa area in 2010 and my family lived with me.  After they left on a trip and I had bonded myself to the Jabhat Al-Nusra, I gave Mustafaa and ‘Abdul-‘Azeez directions to my home. So, they came over after a time accompanied by Abu-Haytham and the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana. They had with them an explosive belt and they started to prepare the suicide bomber.  After sundown, within about 10 minutes, Mustafaa and ‘Abdul-‘Azeez left the home followed, then, by Abu Haytham and the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana after he had put on new clothes and a jacket inside which was the explosive belt.

The terrorist Al-Shibli indicated that he remained with “Abu-Al-Layth in the home and after less than an hour, Mustafaa came along with Abu Haytham bringing with them salted nuts.  They entered the room which had a television set and sat for a quarter hour.  Then they left the house and while they were present I asked them if the operation was a success.”

For his part, the terrorist Sa’ad Jallood Al-Kaddaash Jad’aan, a member of terrorist Jabhat Al-Nusra said:

“After the suicide bomber was prepared, Mustafaa and ‘Abdul-‘Azeez left the home and contacted Abu Haytham so that he would bring the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana after the Evening Prayers.  Then, they both left.  While we were seated, we heard the sound of an explosion and we assumed that the suicide bomber Abu Dajaana did the operation.  At almost the Evening Prayer Abu Haytham and Mustafaa returned to the home and we asked him if Abu Dajaana performed the operation.

I think the syrian government may well be well advised to catalog the state of the British rat on video with British or international representatives present for the sake of posterity then return it in good faith. But I agree in this state they can’t be careful enough.

I am positively baffled by the fact the Syrian government just doesn’t get it. In any case, we’ll see how this one plays out. I can hear Cameron’s carping already about how the Syrian “regime” killed this wonderful terrorist. Ziad

That’s what I am saying… Syrian gov just doesn’t get it on the battle field also. 3 yrs and they keep on repeating the same mistakes over n over again.– No backup team to support fighters fighting the rats for days and then they send the whole army when the place is lost.– Reacts to incidents instead of being proactive. Won Nabk lost deir atiyeh– No solid defence in place i.e. one suicide vehicle and the place is lost – No drones or surveillance to see rats movement at local level i.e every major place needs drone support at infantry… Read more »

Glad to see West and North-West Aleppo coming under pressure now, perhaps the beginnings of an envelopment.

Particularly fun is this video of some rats in Khan Alasal throwing a wobbly when their command centre gets taken out:

The point is Ziad, how could SAA allow this. They were fighting there for 10 days – where was the backup support.

Every city or place of importance was lost after a major battle that lasted for days… so how come SAA is not well prepared to send support team.

If we will build it is the attitude why not just destroy in the first place so rats have nothing to take over.

1)Not an expert but i think… the al kindi Hospital .. even if it is strategical zone and lost.. The Rebels cannotuse it effectively like the Syrian Army ,for the simply reason that the Syrian Airforce can flatern the place if it is needed with bombs and turn it into dust. So the question can be..how much benefit they will get by controlling it. Higher places are always better because allow an army to have a better view of troops movements.. but i think you can also counter that by movement at nights or using fake troops /tanks but also… Read more »

12 killed in attacks against church in southern Syria http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/world/2013-12/22/c_125895988.htm “Syria’s armed rebels fired multiple mortar shells on a church in Syria’s southern province of Daraa, killing 12 people and injuring many others, the pro- government al-Ekhbarieh TV reported. Oh well, dont worry folks about kindi hospital. We can put a lovely propaganda spin on it ‘ Terrorist suicide bomber blows up hospital and primary cancer treatment ward for northern syria.’ Sounds good ey!!! Regardless of the defeat, that siege will go down as an epic siege in the annals of history, a couple hundred soldiers fight off thousands of rebels for a year. Truly epic! Well done SAA. Oh, and just to clear this up. My interpretation of events in Daraa in march/april 2011. Here goes : A bunch of unruly, uneducated, islamic fundamentalist fools begin whining about human rights and some kids being locked up for vandalism. So they say, really they want a backward medieval state ruled by sunni sheikhs with sharia law and woman oppressed, all encouraged by foreign anti-syria agents and foreign terrorists stirring things up. So they carry on their ‘peaceful protests’ , when really they’re bringing all economic activity to a halt, defying and provoking the police and carrying out arson attacks… Read more »

Abu Shamel, a #suicide bomber who was responsible for the famous #Tamico blast, has been killed after detonating himself in #Adra, Northeast of #Damascus, killing 60.

The fighter who operated under the Al Nusra Front, Al Qaeda’s main group in Syria, had survived in October when he parked a car bomb next to Tamico strategic checkpoint in Eastern Ghouta, and exploded it by remote control

Zdrasztvujte Bot Tak, to F-22: It is “stealth” only in front and WITHOUT weapons… Additionally, they are “stealth” only in certain wave bands. The new Russian-made SAR-Radars can detect them rather early. This was one of the main reasons that the US didn´t attacked Syria in August. The Russians could detect any cruise missile launch or fighter start “just in time”, and could provide the necessary signals for the Russian-made SAM-Systems of SAA. To break through of the anti-aircraft system of Syria would have been simply very costly. Another info: Maybe you remember the communication in August-September from Moscow: A… Read more »

Anonymous Great comment and interesting about the Patriot/S300 connection. I agree with you about the F-22 stealth vulnerability. Long band radar (IE: older radars) can pick it up just like any other aircraft. The American stealth tech is vastly overrated (and overpriced), like the “Emperor’s New Clothes”. The main real improvement of the F-22 over the rest of the American air inventory is its ability to fly low at supersonic speed, thus reduce reaction time for defenses. The American’s cancelled further production of this $400 million hanger queen when it was realised the Russians were producing an aircraft capable of… Read more »

Bot Tak, I haven´t archived the news about the detection of the launch of the Israeli test missile, and before Christmas simply I don´t have the time for the research. However, you could do it for yourself: You should search in BBC, CNN, and RT archives between August 25. and September 15. All major media outlets reported and commented the event about one week long. Israel launched the test missile from a submarine delivered by Germany (althought the contract with Germany EXCLUDES the modification of the submarine to launch missiles). To the flying altitude of F-22: S300 can intercept targets… Read more »

Even more weird – many educated Britons, of all persuasions, don’t know they have a citizenship to lose. Instead, they get worked up about being British subjects, thanks to the most successful racist campaign in modern history. When China regained control of Hong Kong, there was a possibility that Britain would be flooded with Hongkers who were British subjects but not British citizens. So Charter 88 began to campaign against such feudal anachronisms as the category “British subject” in a world where everyone else was a “citizen” (ignoring the fact that nearly all these citizens were almost everywhere subject to… Read more »

This post by the Iranian FARS news makes me wonder how many militants, as FARS calls it, were killed in Homs city today. The term ‘too many’ makes me hope the capture of the whole city of Homs is near. Also wondering how the operation in Adra is going. If there are really 10k militants this battle won’t be easy.
