AL-ZAARA’S LIBERATION MEANS NO MORE WEAPONS FROM LEBANON; 19 FORMER RATS SURRENDER FOR AMNESTY IN HOMS; NEWS AND COMMENT

Al-Zaara:  This difficult target has been finally conquered and means, quite literally, that the terrorists in Waadi Khaaled in Lebanon can no longer smuggle weapons or reinforcements into Homs Province. The triumph occurred on Saturday in Syria and its reverberations can be felt in Yabrood where rodents have been abandoned by Abu MaalekAl-Kuwaiti for a few Qatari shekels.  (See today’s second post about the secrets in how the GS obtained the release of the nuns) SAA continues to advance from the south there.

A note from Wael on Saturday, which I missed because of my trip, informs that SAA and NDF troops are now heading to Al-Hissn, a few kilometers away, to destroy what is left of the cannibals.  The battle there should be quick since the rodents have little ammunition and no reason to fight left.  99% of the Christian population in Al-Hissn support the return of the central authority to the area and are already giving assistance to the NDF.  Those few individuals from this area who threw their support behind the terrorists will have much crow to eat.

Al-Zaara was taken by the SAA after its grubby defenders lost all hope of escaping.  They surrendered by the hundreds as townspeople cheered the entry of the SAA.  That could not have been very encouraging for the stinking rats who occupied this town in the name of a counterfeit revolution.

HOMS:   19 former vermin surrender themselves in the Old City to security authorities in an effort to avail themselves of the Amnesty Law:

The rehabilitation of Al Qaeda in the western press continues today with a story in the Guardian, the main emphasis of which was what a nice bunch of guys the kidnappers of the Nuns were, how well they treated them, as though kidnapping civilians for use as human shields is not in itself a war crime. It was absolutely stunning. Fortunately I hadn’t eaten breakfast yet, so I didn’t vomit on my computer. 1984 is here, thirty years late. Al Qaeda are now fuzzy moderates and neo-nazis in the Ukraine are now freedom-fighting liberators. For my part, I wish the… Read more »

These “19 former vermin” that surrender themselves look quite remorseful. Is it just fear or is it genuine regret? The kid in the blue hoodie jacket, what will tell himself in some years from now, when Syrian society looks back at these years of nightmarish horror and tries to cope with all traumata? This kid has been part of a social and ideological plague, has been actively fighting in a camp that has coated Syria with atrocities and destruction — what will he tell to himself in the future? This kid is not innocent, regardless of his looks. Will he… Read more »

yes boy in blue caught my eye as well. and i was wondering the Dichotomy of our socio-economic system. In the end the cannon fodder is always poor , common man from both sides. Elite always escape the battle secene unscathed. Regardless who is right who is wrong, cannon fodder is us. Assad isn’t angel neither is any government on this earth. ! there must be some sense of deprivation amongst common , poor , from bottom rung of the socirty , that made them see some FAlse hope , instigated by the PAID SOLDIERS and Religio-Politico Powers to be.… Read more »

The guy in the hoodie sure doesn’t look remorseful to me, look at his body language, clenched fist on his hip…arrogant prick…seems like he only surrendered probably because their supplies were cut and he didn’t have any more ammo to kill innocent Syrian civilians! Mark my words he isn’t happy that he surrendered..so he isn’t remorseful at all…I hope the Syrian authorities note this because that piece of crap will be there again next time when it is time to kill innocent people!

@Milo, right, the youngster in the bue hoodie does not look remorseful, I agree. Some of the others do, or at least they are not arrogant looking. The guy behind him, the guy with the bruise at right side of his nose, the guy with glasses. The hoodie boy is very young and quite immature, he has been utterly misled, maybe later he is being confronted with the nature of his deeds, we do not know. In either way, what will become of these guys? If they really do regret and feel pity for their victims, then they will have… Read more »

My work has taken me to several countries that have emerged from civil war: Cambodia, Timor-Leste and Liberia. What I saw there gives me hope about what can be achieved. I saw real forgiveness and reconciliation. And I agree with you :these guys are just cannon fodder for the USA -Zionists-GCC. In another time, they might have made excellent socialist revolutionaries… but alas for the ineptness of working class parties in countries such as Syria and India. And we may worry about the suffering we see now. But if we look at it from a long term perspective, all this… Read more »

Hello Sister, just gave you a thumb up, forgiveness, reconciliation and so. A few seconds later I read “The Syrian people have learnt a costly but important lesson.” What is that???!!?!? Indian philosophy, old veda teaching? I regret having liked your commentary prematurely. Not meant to offend you. Man’s history is a history of suffering, love, decline, creation, breathe in breathe out. Men have inflicted incredible atrocities to each other, be it out of fear or fanatism or hatred or mere sadism. Nothing new to the planet, one might say from a scholar’s point of view. But who am I… Read more »

sorry I did not expand. the lesson is simple: stay united, do not allow strangers to divide you on sectarian lines, remain forever vigilant. This is the lesson I meant. A lesson in immunology

Dear Wolfgang, I intentionally demonize and dehumanize these filthy murderers because they do not deserve to be referred to as humans. That the Nazis did the same to the Jews, Gypsies, Die Sklaven, and all the rest is meaningless in a world where I am fighting media trying to dehumanize our great Syrian army. What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Ziad

I so agree with you. I would love to be in Syria to see how the citizens treat these cockroaches when the return to society. I hope they are ostracized they deserve it. To destroy your own country in exchange for money from outsiders is the ulitmate form of treason.

I think actions opposite to what you suggest would work best if Syria has to move forward. Many of these guys are young, lumpen. Many are likely feeling true remorse about their crimes. True forgiveness on the part of the victors in this struggle would lead to reconciliation.

Dear Ziad, we both wish the same: Syria’s victory over the jiadist terrorists, Syria’s healing from physical destructions and mental devastations, Syria’s integrity as a nation in full control / self-determination without foreign intervention. You do understand, as I am sure, that my perspective simply must be different than yours, since Syria is not my own homeland and I do not have relatives there, and because I have been raised and socialised in Germany. I do hardly know anything about Baathism or Pan-Arabism or the inner affairs of Syria of the last years or the actual politics of Bashir al-Assad.… Read more »

Quote from previous post: ‘Hezbollah is currently fighting Jabhat al-Nusra on the border of Lebanon; this has resulted in the lack of manpower in several areas for the terrorist forces. Anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles have been discovered in warehouses at Al-Sahel ‘ – excellent news! this means anti-aircraft weaponry (no-doubt supplied by terrorist HQ in Riyadh) that was meant to be used by rats in shooting down SAAF jets is now in the hands of Hezbollah. I am now sweating for another zionist flyover by israeli jets into Lebanon…

These rockets, manpads, ATGM destroy T72, don’t they? Good that SAA found some of them in Al-Sahel.
Most important to me seems to identify the sources of supply, the smuggling routes, then obstruct supply and / or battlefield use. Easy to say that. Maybe the use of those rockets is impeding SAA’s and Hezbollah’s advance, maybe they can not deploy their tanks and vehicles as intended, I can only speculate on this. I hope the number of those ATGM rockets in rebel’s hands is limited and the supply is being obstructed soon.

Actually… Every T-72 that has seen action in this war has been hit an average of 15 times by ATGM’s, the dangerous ones are the ones with tandem charges. Also, one without tandem charge can be disastrous for the tank with a “lucky” (unlucky for us) hit somewhere where the ERA is not covering.

A T-55 or T62 however will almost never surrender a direct hit, no matter what kind of ATGM being used.

It is a good article with many interesting details. I didn’t think much of his pessimistic conclusion esp his reliance of US estimates that the war will last a decade. I thought the SAA victory was pretty swift after initial losses. Things are beginning to look good.

I agree with my sister from India. But, it is interesting how an organization like the PFLI exists without anyone mentioning it. But much of the material was mentioned by SyrPer in previous posts. I always refer to Hatay as Turkish-Occupied Syria. Good article though despite editing problems. Thanks, Ziad

If the town of Al-Hisn gave men and material to the enemy, they didn’t just side with the terrorists they are the terrorists and they are traitors. If their countrymen are people from Afghanistan, and not their neighbors who never did a thing to them, then deport them to Kabul.

The people of Al-Hissn are terrified. They are Christians threatened with death if they don’t do exactly what the rats tell them. It’s a horrible situation, but imagine what it must be like to have your children killed before your eyes. The number of Quislings in Al-Hissn is low in number. The people there want the SAA back. And it’s coming as I write. Ziad

Dear Joe, there are many errors in this article by Cockburn. But, all in all, it is informative. He makes statements about sects which are patently false. i think he knows little about Syria but is learning quickly. He might learn more during peacetime. And our army is not overstretched. He failed to mention the NDF, now 170,000 strong. He also, however, proved my reports that the FSA is now on our side. Ziad

Fun facts. Jacob Lew’s 2 most notable achievements ( aside from being a seditious slimeball ) were blowing up citibank costing taxpayers billions and being the first person to require kosher food in the takeaway menu at the whitehouse.

So apparently the mongoloid inter-savage fighting between the foreign terror squads shows little sign of abating. I hope this is indeed true because, again, as more organic vermin seek amnesty and the foreign retardates kill eachother this rolling collapse simply gathers steam.
