KRAK DES CHEVALIERS IS RAT FREE!; THE END IS NEARING IN THE WEST; NEWS AND COMMENT

HOMS: Al-Mayaadeen took this exclusive photo of SAA soldiers hoisting the flag over the Krak des Chevaliers in a ceremony being repeated all over Syria.

vnew_ambush

Another scene repeated around Syria. Here, near the Krak.

A reader sent a note to our Comment section and alerted us that the Krak had been liberated.  I am amazed it took such a short time. I had expected greater tenacity from the rats. But, I guess it’s true: the morale of the Obama rat army is at rock bottom and their only hope is escape into the Lebanon where they can torment Michel Sulayman who will reap what he sowed.

DAMASCUS:

Syrian army forces make more improvements in west of the country.

SAA head for Faleeta on the road to rat-riddance.

Apparently many of the rebels from the castle were caught on a “flat part” of the hill (not sure what that means but the locals do). They were mostly foriegners.

Ziad A. Fadel, Esq.

This is correct. Many of the hills in this area are mesas. Once seen here, they are easy prey. The skirt around the Krak is similar to that in Aleppo, relatively flat. Ziad

I, too, am amazed. I wrote earlier about my skepticism that they would free it that quickly. It appears the rodents themselves decided to abandon ship figuring they had no stomach for a long siege. Great show. I will get you what facts I can glean. Ziad

What a wave of good news, knocking in wood to keep it going. Way to go SAA and NDF, that part of Syria sealed will let Homs and Hamas terrorists with very very little re supply routes, the whole center and west front are collapsing while the north has al the attention from SAA, hopefully we will hewr soon about the complete encirclement of Aleppo. Crossing my fingers.

Ziad A. Fadel, Esq.

The SAA and NDF are slowly, but inexorably, encircling Aleppo. Once they hit Anadaan, it’s going to be over in the north. After that, we must help the people of Al-Raqqa. Ziad

Canthama, they will use their little beach head aka israel to do airdrops, they are that desperate, SAF must be prepared to shoot these down , or use an old German Army trick, allow the drops but use them as bait to trap the mice then squash them, which i much prefer.

It’s so important that Krak was taken, as far as I can understand, without much of a fight… the Krak lies beyond human lives, It’s an amazing monument that I’ve always wanted to visit from Greece, and when I first heard it was taken my heart had sunk.

That it was taken so easily is a fantastic bonus, and I’m really hopeful that indeed the fascists’ morale is at an all-time low!

May the gods bless Syria!

The God Ares is behind our SAA. If you’re in Greece, it’s a short hop to Latakia and an hour and a half drive to the Krak. It’s a beautiful trip. Greece is beautiful, too and I’ve been there 3 times in my life. Always stay in touch, Adelphos. Ziad

The palpable sense of carpet chewing rage / desperation we see out of the west is the yang to the ying that is the jubilation of the Noble Syrian Warriors.

See a SAF salute to the crew who liberated the castle – the boys hit the deck during an interview.

also, a decent presstv piece – well decent because Dr. Webster Tarpley nails it like usual while an aged former diplomat whom appears to be in the early stages of senility rabbles on about whippersnappers and crazy kids or something of the like.

Great news indeed! Do you know if there was any serious damage to the castle itself? Any actual battles fought inside the Krak? It would be a pity if such a great monument was destroyed during the fighting.

Diomidis Ourougouais

Just to clarify, I’m asking because I’ve read about fights in a nearby village but no mention of whether the rats had barricaded themselves inside the Krak or not. If they had barricaded, I guess damage to the castle structures would be inevitable. Thanks!

There is damage. The rats wanted to degrade its beauty, and, thus, to degrade infrastructure and tourism. They failed. I am informed that all remnants are repairable and that the citadel will be back to its original beauty. Mayadin and Syrian State TV showed some of the destruction yesterday. Ziad

Yes.. Israel could not handle Hezbolah.. even less they had a chance to invade Syria ,alone that is. SYria have missiles with very accurate precision that can hit Netanyahu residence or their nuclear reactor ,and any Government or military building.. and declare a no fly zone inside Israel too.

Great news! Nevertheless, I can’t help thinking that all this looks too good to be true. I find it difficult to believe that the coalition of liars will accept a defeat like that. Hi, David. I’m not Ziad, by any stretch, but I spend an awful lot of time on Syria. SAA is across the Euphrates and has reportedly liberated Dayr az-Zawr; also heavy fighting reported in Ar-Raqqah, with very few and sketchy reports when available. A ground invasion is reportedly staging in Jordan to strike up through Dar’a with a composite force, nominally ‘insurgents’, but who knows? SAA reportedly captured CIA personnel during operations near Dar’a, but I’ve only seen the single report. I’d think the east will take a while, ’cause there’s a lot of desert with nothing but miles and… Read more »

Dayr El-Zor is mostly in the hands orf the SAA with the exception of some quarters like Al-Huwayqa. There is fighting in Al-Raqqa but the supporters of the SAA are not strong enough to dislodge ISIS now. The Southern Front may be a lot of hot air. The Prez is not worried about it. It seems to be shifting its locus to the Golan where the Zionists will have to deal with the rats. Shouldn’t be too hard for Zionist rats. Ziad

This is great news! I am thrilled with the progress of the Syrian Army. It’s important that they don’t let up but keep the pressure on the rats. I wish that the Sunni groups in Lebanaon would wake up and realize thaey should be supporting Hezbollah and the Assad government. Why can’t they see the big picture? Don’t they realize they’re just being played for fools by the Zionists? Same for the Takfiris. They don’t realize they are Zionist foot soldiers. What a shame.

Hello Ziad and readers. I’ve been following your blog for some months now and I deeply appreciate the accurate and truthful updates you give us. However I can’t stop worrying about Syria, Iran, China and Russia. I’ve known for some time that the next 9/11 will most likely be nuclear given the huge amount of evidence and simple “coincidences” that have happened and will occur again in US soil and will most likely involve some US cities. The stealing of the antiques, the destruction of historical sites, the pillaging of the religious site, all have a purpose. This is done on the behalf of the Zionists, to distort history. Ask your self this simple question, why is it we can find and excavate Dinosaurs, Christian, Islam, other civilisations, but nothing to prove that Israel actually excited, or the stories the Zionist pushes to the world. Just look at Iraq and the loss of all those artefacts, crazy bastards.

Is it true that:
a) Rebels are closing in on the last regime-held village in Quneitra?
b) Kassab border crossing to Turkey was taken by them?
c) Base 559 has fallen to them with dozens of armoured vehicles destroyed or captured?
d) SAA/NDF units in Northern Deraa are cut-off?
e) Rats are gaining ground around Adraa?
The happy I am about ongoing SAA victories near the lebanese border, the events in the South are less encouraging, and reports about the situation there have become rare at Syrper.
