SYRIAN ARMY CRUSHES TERRORISTS AT MOUNT AZZAAN IN ALEPPO!

Syrian army troops

ALEPPO:

Mount ‘Azzaan:  Another laugh-inducing Turk-inspired effort to degrade the SAA’s anti-aircraft missile network went awry the night before last when a relatively large convoy of terrorists made an effort to storm the Mount ‘Azzaan AA missile base overlooking the Damascus-Aleppo International Highway.  This base contains S-300 AA batteries.  What goes on in Erdoghani Turk minds can only be known to zoologists because even the slipshod idiots at Hakan Fidan’s MIT don’t seem to know themselves.

The attack was clearly a part of Turkey’s failed tactics to denigrate missile capacity in order to establish a no-fly zone of some kind.  As the sun arose, Wael says his first cousin, who is deployed with the SAA at the site, told him that the extent of the disaster became really known only when silhouettes of carcasses appeared in large numbers.  The count yesterday was 171 which was based on anecdotal reporting.  That number has been reduced now to 137.  The actual number of wounded is not available. Interestingly, the mothers of Chechnya will be forlorn because many of the carcasses carried Russian-language papers and bore phenotypes similar to males of the Caucasus.

The groups which sent this pile of cannon-fodder into Hell were the Nusra, Ahraar Al-Shaam, Kateebat AlMuhaajireen, Jabhat Al-Islam and Ghurfat ‘Amaliyyaat Ahl Al-Shaam (Operations Room of the People of Syria. Oh, Yawn!)

Tal Qurraah:  More dead carcasses strewn about the landscape gave evidence of increasing desperation on the part of the terrorists of Nusra.  Here the vermin attacked a convoy of SAA and the convoy attacked back.  The number of dead terrorists is only an estimate at 19 or more.

تدمير رشاشات ثقيلة في الغوطة الشرقية.. واشتباكات على أكثر من محور في داريا

Fighting continues to intensify as part of Operation Canopus Star (‘Amaliyyat Al-Suhayl) all over Aleppo as we now are hearing of clashes at the border with Turkey:

A’zaaz, Ba’eedeen Roundabout, Khaan Al-‘Asal, Al-Judayda, Rasm Al-‘Abbood, Kuwayris area, Layramoon, Kafr Laahaa, Baab Al-Nayrab, Baabees, Baab Al-Nassr, Al-Shaykh Sa’eed, Dhahrat ‘Abed Rabbuh, Al-Raashideen, Bustaan Al-Baashaa, ‘Ibteen, Al-Ashrafiyya, Al-‘Uwayja, Kafr Hamra, Kafr Hoom, Faafeen, Al-Haadher, ‘Anadaan, Hanaanu, Al-Ataareb, Al-Wudhayhi, Al-Indhaaraat, Al-Muslimiyya, Al-Ansaari, Salaahuddeen, Al-Saakhoor, Kafr Ruhoom, Baashkawi, Shaykh Najjaar Industrial City.

Very heavy losses to terrorist packs here: Hayyaan, Al-Jandool Roundabout, Handaraat Camp (AA base), Huraytaan, Tal Rif’aat, Al-Mansoora, Maare’.

NEWS AND COMMENT:

Shamus Cooke’s stunning, trenchant assault on Obama’s uselessness and madness is found right here in an article also published out by syriansolidarity:

And now, more laughs from Penny, with Obama as the foil.  NOTE THAT LAKHDAR BRAHIMI just revealed that it was the terrorists who used CW in Khaan Al-‘Asal:

“we now are hearing of clashes at the border with Turkey”
Does that mean Aleppo is clear of the Savages ? How is it that these Savages can roam so freely without being detected?

That is music to anyone with a shred of humanity’s ear. It really is. It also really exposes even more, the nature of this abortion of a “war.” Those a little older may recall the concept of a “rumble” whereby gangs fight each other made popular by a number of late 70s movies ( the warriors, the wanderers ). That is what we have here. A bunch of low IQ savages with a distorted, parochial understanding of islam bordering on a demonic death cult, fueling their hatred for anything past their own nose, armed to the teeth by Western tax… Read more »

As I’ve said many times, seeing the carcasses of chechnyans is always welcome in my view and can be put in the same category as seeing C & C centers smashed, vehicles destroyed and munitions seized by the SAA. Why? I’ve always felt, be it wrong or right that the Chechnyan irregulars are both among the most virulent in terms of ideology as well as the most battle hardened and skilled ( the term skill used with maximum relativity ). Ergo, the loss of large numbers of these guys ( as we know they roll in packs, or murders, or… Read more »

They could easily go through Georgia to Turkey. I believe George has a small Chechen minority both indigenous and partly from refugee influx.

Wahhabi’s don’t have nationality. Poor Chechen nation suffered the most because of them. And i don’t think the majority of Chechens who fight in Syria are from Russia, as we keep an eye on recruitment, and terrorist activities.
I guess that most of them are from diaspora living in Turkey and Georgia, where anti-russian/wahhabi sentiments are strong, and there are plenty of NATO instructors and Saudi founds. Out of total 3 million Chechen only 1 is living in Russia.

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against the average normal chechen, I’m merely saying that chechen terrorists are, in my view, the nastiest of the nasty. I don’t disagree that it is heartbreaking and disgusting in terms of what a menace wahhabism is, and the fate of those who have become its many victims on both sides.

Ziad, I read about a well-ordered force armed with T-72 tanks and heavy mortars 120 mms and, I suspect with a lot of TOW’, heading up to Deraa. I’m not afraid of these apes but the weapons they carry with them. Are there any news from the battlefield?

I believe the report is still readable on Debkafile wich does a lot of propaganda but sometimes I have read news quite enough reliable. I do know the government has the air force superiority but can not cover all the country. Also, in the video I posted below they are supported by some armoured vehicles in Mleha, I read they’re spamming hordes of jihadis and mercenaries there knowing if they lose it the fate for the Eastern Ghouta is signed. Wich means a devastating blow, I don’t know how many but the SAA should have stuck there at least two… Read more »

I would not trust Debkafile a bit, they were the one saying the great southern front would happen late 2013, we have seen nothing at all, actually the situation for the SAA has improved substantially in the last 6 months in the southern front. See the maps below from several battle front, there is the 6 months up date for the southern one, quite interesting the advances from SAA.

the video is complete crap. I looked through the entire 12,5 minutes. The terrorists fired thousands of rounds, RPGs and threw grenades. I did not see a single dead SAA/NDF soldier and not a single tank or BMP destroyed. The only “impressive” thing was the quite high concentration of armoured tanks. BMPs and Shilkas in the hand of terrorists in a single area.

Ziad, impressive advance in southern Aleppo by the SAA, I counted 12 cities freed in 1 week or so. I am thrilled with any possibility of fights in the northern border, I see you mention Azaaz, this is a pride for the traitors of FSA/IF, but wonder whether this northern fights are also involving the Kurds that dominate now most of the northern border with Turkey.

Well dragging much-suffered Kurdish people in this conflict will be the biggest betrayal of Kurds by it’s leaders. And i fear it might happen cause there is strong influence of Northern Iraqi Kurds who are heavily sponsored by USA.
Anyway SAA-Kurds situation is looking for me like a powder keg, waiting for a false flag attack, even with CW – cause Kurds still remember with anger CW attack by Saddam.

Why does Assad keep giving the terrorists a chance at amnesty for any crime committed? http://www.presstv.com/detail/2014/06/09/366235/assad-announces-general-amnesty/

I know it is a tough nut to swallow, but it is my understanding that : 1) Amnesty is aimed to Syrians only, no foreign terrorists included. A lot was accomplished so far with previous amnesty programs, it is effective and is working. 2) Syrian Government has the upper hand, and it is from this vantage point that the Syrian Government is extending its hand iagain and again n a National Reconciliantion, it is very brave attitude indeed from the Syrian Government, but also very smart, since he aims to replicate the successes in Damascus and Homs through out the… Read more »

Gbcd, it seems I was a bit light in my thoughts on this new amnesty, it is bigger and broader, includes foreign terrorists as well, see in details from Mon of Alabama site, besides, it does seem it is an orchestrated move between Syria, Russia and Iran, worth checking carefully the article (peace moves on Syria).

See Moon of Alabama info on the UNSC, interesting developments indeed with Russia leading UNSC from June onwards. More and more Syria and Ukraine are in the same basket of negotiations. “Unveiling “Western” Hypocrisy Russia Connects Syria And Ukraine Australia, Luxembourg, and Jordan are planning to circulate a new U.N. Security Council resolution that diplomats say would authorize the delivery of humanitarian aid into Syria through four border crossings without approval from President Bashar Assad’s government. Diplomats familiar with the draft said it is under Chapter 7 of the U.N. Charter, which means it could be enforced militarily. It would… Read more »

See this news from Moon of Alabama, it has some clues on your questions, it does seem a broader move from Syria, Russia and Iran to reduce the level of the conflict in Syria.

I think SAA needs to upgrade its Main Battle Tank Fleet of T-72/T-55,Probably some Ukranian T-84 will do the trick due to Reactive Armor covering the tank’s tracks to prevent the Tank from being Disabled,Otherwise Syria could work together with Russia in Upgrading the T-72/T-55,Adding Armor to The Tracks like the T-84,Turret Replacement with some Advanced Tech(FLIR,Computer Controlled Turret,Longer Barrel for Far Engagements like how the US did against Iraq in 1991,Remote Controlled Machine Gun so that Tank Gunners won’t have to Put their heads out in the open for a sniper to shoot them) like the T-90 turret and… Read more »

ANYONE AWARE OF THIS?————Syrian Arab Army
2 hours ago
Let the international committee, and Western government deal with the terrorism they created in Syria.

A decree issued today from the Commander in Chief of the Syrian Armed Forces, number 20 for 2014:

Foreigners who entered Syria with the purpose of joining a terrorist group or committing a terrorist act if they turn themselves in to the authorities within a month of issuing this decree.

The foreigners will be deported from Syria, and let their governments deal with their terrorism.

That was Decree #20 and then #22-which is very long–here is some of it—-Jun 09, 2014 President Bashar al-Assad issued Monday Legislative Decree no. 22 for 2014 granting a general amnesty for crimes committed before June 9, 2014.————(OLIVE BRANCH?)Deserters are also granted FULL amnesty, both those who are inside Syria and abroad and who are not fugitives from justice. Fugitives wanted for other crimes can also benefit from the amnesty if they turn themselves in within three months. The amnesty does not affect convictions from personal lawsuits which remain under the jurisdiction of courts and the individuals or sides who… Read more »

It only goes to show the forgiveness of Assad, personally i would do the same but kill em all in some disused factory and sell them as fertilizer, let none return or live for the crimes they have committed, not even the Syrian nationals.

Iran issued a deal with Turkey about the “Black Flags” in Syria.Information from al-Mayadeen,which is a pro-Syrian TV channel operating in Lebanon.Iraqi Army eliminated scores of ISIS in Samraa and starting to display their ugly body in the streets(tied to Lamposts etc.) in al-Anbar Province(majority Arab Sunni) as a message to anyone who wants to join ISIS.

Ziad, I have the utmost appreciation for what you do here. I would be devastated without your good news- and humor- on the Syrian situation. It is the only outlet given the impedance of the MSM on this and many other topics. But I ask you to reconsider some of what you say about Obama and America. I fully realize America’s policies in this conflict have played a part in devastating and ruining Syria. But from my perspective, this is a locally hatched scheme launched and driven by “brotherly” arabs in ksa and qatar and other neighbors as the despicable… Read more »

Sorry, my American brother, you are wrong. The plan to destroy Syria was hatched a good 15 years ago. It was put into written form in 2007 by a vile triple citizen who infects my own country – one Martin Indyk, at the Brookings Institution in Washington. This is a well-known Zionist outfit. The ‘report’ was called ‘Which Paths To persia?’ and was a recipe for the annihilation of both Syria and Iran. Syria was to be destroyed for no other reason than that it was an ally of Iran. The Saudis, GCC Arab tyrannies and the Khazari settler state… Read more »

I agree with you on the humanitarian aid from the US and also on Obama’s weak decision making on Syria. Good grief, if McCain had won the election there would be US airstrikes on Damascus and much more military aid.
