AL-NUSRA FALLING APART IN DAMASCUS

MIDEAST SYRIA IRAQ BORDER

A Syrian soldier with what could be an Spg-9 73mm recoilless rocket launcher.  Normally, these require 3-4 men to operate.  We’re still looking.

 DAMASCUS:

Al-Saa’oor Farms in Doumaa:  8 Nusra fanatics put to death as they tried to hold out against unceasing aerial bombardment.

Misraabaa Farms:  11 terrrorist criminals confirmed dead at hands of the SAA:

  • Firaas Da’aas
  • ‘Abdul-Majeed Al-Muqaddam
  • Shaadi Za’noon
  • Ziyaad Al-Barghooth

The rest were not identified.

‘Adraa Workers’ Residencies Expansion District:  At the 9th and 11th blocks, the Islamic Front took a big hit when it lost 8 of its terrorist rats with an undisclosed number surrendering.

Al-Shifooniyya:  Huge loss to crumbling rat groups in this stunning assault by SAA and NDF on their withering fortifications.  Weapons and ammunition dropped by the fleeing rodents was a great boon to our NDF:

  • Husaam Al-Saleek
  • Wadhdhaah Husaami
  • Nooreddeen Al-Khishin
  • Ahmad Al-Najjaar
  • Saafi Ka’ood

Another 17 could not be identified.

Jawbar: At the Central Corniche, 1 rodent was put down while MI gathered up stores of surveillance cameras provided by the Zionist Settler State.

Al-Maleeha at the margins, more terrorists were killed yesterday in on-going sweeps of areas they once terrorized.

Zibdeen, Al-Nishaabiyya Farms, Waadi ‘Ayn Turma and Jisreen:  Monzer reports heavy fighting with the SAA consistently assaulting rat positions.  It is hard to get solid reports during Ramadhaan.

Al-Tayyiba Village in the direction of ‘Ayn Al-Baydhaa in the area of Al-Kiswa:   Fighting with no details.

Foothills of Qaarraa and Ra`s Al-Ma’arra:  Many rodents killed in a broad sweep by SAA and SAAF.

I know that it doesn’t serve the interest of this site nor the SAA to share such information. But how does the losses of the SAA compare to that of the terrorists/rebels? Is it a 1:1, 1:2 or much more one-sided ratio? Although I am not a big fan of Assad or middle-eastern leadership in general, I sincerely hope he will come out as the victor in this conflict. He is by far the lesser of two evils and probably the most modern of what few “dictators” are left in this world. But in a battle of attrition, i fear… Read more »

Jannik, have seen nbrs all over the board, in major SAA offensive in open field the ratio can be as good as 1:10 (mostly due to air support and heavy mechanized army), but in close quarter fights it can be around 1:2 or 1:3 (snipers etc..), anyway, you will probably hear very different numbers from Super readers.

losses are roughly 1:1. But on the rebel side, 95% of the losses are taken by terrorist groups such as ISIS/IS, AlQaeda or Ahrar AlSham. The so-called “moderates” take nearly no losses, because they rarely participate in active fighting. Most of them die by air strikes.

Jannik, Dr Assad has been elected president of Syria three times since I’ve taken an interest, in late 2011. His recent re-election was the first direct election under the reformed constitution, previously to which he was appointed by a democratic elected parliament. Calling him a dictator is falling for Western flim-flam. He garnered 88.7% of the vote – over 10 million. Some time ago reference was made in these pages to the SAA’s kill-ratio. At that time, when the tide was turning, and the SAA had become adept at countering the rats, it was 30-1. It has likely improved markedly… Read more »

Hey Thylacine, it was me that quoted the ratios, i did because of my calculations and the methods the terrorists used, at first it was 30 SAA to one ISIS, now it has changed the other way around or 20-30 ISIS to one SAA, these are taken by relatives news, in one instance it was 17 ISIS to one of ours. They have since learnt the terrorist tactics and are more astute, that’s why some operations are taking longer than normal. Although i must say the ratios are not true for every battle i am stating the average over all,… Read more »

A man who reforms his country from a third world country to a modern one. A man who made Syria the most liberal, the most modern and the most secular country in all of the Arab World. A man who risks his own life to defend Syria instead of fleeing and leaving Syrians to fall i to chaos with Rebel Fighters. A man who is humble, pragmatic, and brings Syria proudness, hope and is a great statesman. Watch interviews of him on youtube.

Here’s the Good Doctor’s inauguration speech. It’s long, but it’s good.

Jannik,Assad in no more a dictator than Obama. At least he has the backing 80% of the people. We see the tragedy in the US as similar to whats happening here in Syria. The murder rate in Chigago and other cities and the abject poverty in Detroit is comparible and to know 500 mil is being sent to IS tells the sickness of Obama and his zionsts.Oh no my friend the embarrasment you are trying to paint on our beloved leader should be on your canvas.

Damascus has all characteristics to be moving quickly to a rat free region. On Aleppo, it is being reported rats’ attempt on the central prison once again, it seems rats are over desperate to avoid Aleppo encirclement by attempting to cut off SAA on the central prison, from all places in Aleppo this one seems a suicidal attempt, go figure!

Unfortunately thered no actual mechanism of losses im sure SAA keep records as professional army but they are not to release numbers, then you have the mouthpiece SOHR who keeps a tally but not verified elsewhere so MSM always report his figures which suits him being a rebel lover.

Good job Ziad. You are my front runner hero. The more progress news are coming in the more stupid questions are made. Trolls try putting up the usual palaver-hut. One of the master-rats proclaimed some days ago a new Emi-rat with the Aleppo orphanage to be the residence. The morning after the hot news were dished out by the streamlined media the very same Emi-rats were still swirling over their proclaimed Emi-rat blown up from an explosives staffed tunnel blown up underneath the orphanage. That means some hundred rats gone and no one of my admired heroic Syrian defenders. And… Read more »

Same here,I have read about rats tries to retake Aleppo Central Prison, wich were thwarted by SAA promptness. Same here, hope the SAA has the menpower to keep the pressure on that front, losing Aleppo would mean almost losing the war.

My friend, Aleppo is going to be a big blow to the rats in general, the gains from SAA/NDF in Aleppo have been very sustainable, it is slow strategy but solid. We will celebrate.

Agree, Anon. Bobby Lee could not have won the war at Gettysburg, but he darned sure lost it there. Aleppo’s kinda like that.

NDF stands for National Defense Force, reportedly trained, at least in part, by Iranian Republican Guard. There are also numerous local defense forces who are responsible for their own towns and do not participate in wider operations, but kill a lot of Motley Rats.NDF, unlike YPG, are gifted with weapons, ammunition and materiel by SAA, and receive air support, again unlike YPG.

Thats absolutely right. 25 years ago I shot a good number of rockets myself, so I know it. It would be operated by a single shooter, one comrade should carry additional grenades.
