It is with great pleasure that I hear advances in Der Ez Zor country side, timely perfect to put pressure on ISIS. Though it is hard to understand what is going on in that part of the country, very few reports and reliable info, it is interesting to see, lately, an increase in action by the SAA in Hasaka and Der Er Zor, I can not stop trying to link it with Aleppo’s encirclement right now which is somehow freeing up soldiers to advance toward a possible campaign to free up Raqqa. Once you pin point those actions in a… Read more »

Raqqa will be a hard nut to crack. Raqqa can wait. First encircle Aleppo. Once that is finished take Anadan and link up with the Shia towns in need to relief. Then push east towards Kuwairis and take the powerplant. The powerplant will be useful to bring social conditions in Aleppo back and get the local economy going. SAA also needs to fully secure the road to Tabqa Airbase. Then they can push to Maskanah from there. This will allow SAA to attack Deir Hafir from two fronts. Then they can free Jirah airbase and possibly take Tishreen Dam to… Read more »

Hi Treize, my respects to you and what you share at Syrper. I fully concur with your thoughts above, it is hard for me to elaborate on SAA priorities, though I understand that this conflict is fought in many fronts, so I believe the SAA will continue to push forward in the western/northern Aleppo to free up most of the cities and territories, as well as continue to be very active to clean Damascus and ths southern front. The eastern Aleppo front toward possibly to Raqqa may very well be as you described, a double move toward Al Bab/Manbij and… Read more »

This is one of the reasons i keep saying israeli will disappear, you see for it is their heartless actions like this that will anger many good people and they will feel the wrath on a grand scale, sorry for the people that think i am anti-jewish but i am not, i am anti-zionist, all religions have a right to live, except for the evil ones.

In these frightful days where satan’s minions on earth seem intent on causing ww3 ( SEE UKRAINE ) and demonic bullies abound ( ghetto settler state ) it is refreshing to see 1 front where brave protectors of humanity are successfully sending these bastards back to baal’s bordello.

Some of the fotos that Ziad posts capture how difficult this fighting must be for the SAA. The rugged landscape, rocks, broken walls, heat, heavy uniforms do not reveal the true difficulty of this campaign.. As I sit sipping a beer, reading Wael’s communiques in the comfort of my flat, I am wondering if any of us can ever adequately thank these brave men and women who fight for Syria.,
