ALEPPO:

Hope the Aleppo encirclement will be accelerated after the Industrial City was liberated.

The Syrian people are lucky to have a brave Army and military. The US military does nothing about the takeover of America.

What US military? It’s deployed all over the planet in companies and battalions, leaving Homeland Security, TSA and Blackwater for internal security. Well, plus the local police, Sheriff’s departments and State Police, of course.

Meanwhile, the Iraqis are moving forward.

The US military are useless – cut the defense budget. They are not protecting Americans. Blackwater was at Bundy Ranch.

I hope Syria, Iraq and Iran join in their common cause against these ISIS/USSA criminals helped by Russia.

Two of those guys in the Iraq picture look awfully caucasian. The guy with his hand on the map and the other with the AK-47 and his head down and you cannot see his face.

I hope the Iraqis smash these liver eaters and take back their country.

your comments are strange. What do you mean by “Caucasians”? (Russians?) I think you do not knows well the Arabs and seems to have a racial stereotype

I assumed he meant what I might refer colloquially to as “honkies” or white guys when he says caucasians. Not Red bearded savages from Chechnya.

My mistake. Two of those guys look possibly America, European and possibly Russian. It is hard to tell from the picture. I doubt the corrupt US is helping Iraq as ISIS are the USA puppets. They may be Iraqi – it is hard to tell. Their look, unifrms and equipment don’t look Iraqi. The one guy has a black helment. Hmmm…

I think u could also inform about some failed SAA actions, rebels gains (if there are some). Its not shame. Syrian army is winnig in war and lose one small fight isnt shame. Informations would be at least more complex.

Anyway, I hope army will liberate Aleppo soon 🙂

SAA, NDF, local defense forces, YPG are moving forward, slow but steady (gets the job done). I don’t think that there’s any design to keep local setbacks from us – – it’s just that they’re momentary, and not really worth the time, since the enemy is overrun in the next few days anyway, and to post victory notices for the same town a second or third time is a bit confusing, as you may have noticed from old posts. ‘What? You reported that we took that place last week! What’s going on here? Yatta-yatta-yatta.’

“Failed”? if 100 men come towards you with only 10 in your unit how is that a failure? they are loses not failures, and no army in the world comes out with no casualties/deaths every time, get real, we know there are losses on the SAA side but we want to hear about the progress overall.

Not to sound like an ass-hole but I thought Umm Sharshooh Town was already in SAA hands, as reported by Fars agency about a week ago. This means that the town was only surrounded?

By the way, I hope the push to Hanaanu and Layramoon is close, can’t wait till the encirclment is 100% completed.

Sometimes things get lost in the translation or there is no word for it, for example, there is no word for helicopter, it is called a plane (mainly) in arabic, and we say words sometimes the opposite way to how it is said in english, a bit like how yoda talks.

Hi Ziad, you have mentioned few times Anadaan is the key to Aleppo, could you elaborate more about why you stated that, if there is any sensible info you can not say to preserve the battle there that is fine and not to worry to share it, but if all clear then I am very curious to understand your take on that. tks

Its the biggest city outside Aleppo, and almost a suburb of Aleppo that needs to fall in order for a SAA encirclement to be highly effective. I thought Ziad has been saying clearly that the fall of Anadaan is the end of the SAA operation, “Copious Star” and the start of a new/next operation. It’s not going to be a cake-walk thought like SyrPer suggests. The Rebels are bringing in reinforcements and Obama ( Satan in disguise ) is giving them fresh anti-tank missiles to help in the fight. Fresh from a recent anti-Assad meeting in Istanbul the rebels allies… Read more »

Don Ricardo, thanks for your view, but you just stated what I asked that Ziad has mentioned several times that Anadan is key to Aleppo. Anadan is not a large city, 12,000 people only, it is near Aleppo, 10-12 kms and connected to other cities such as Haritan. There must be something special about Anadan that I am missing, wonder whether being in a hill top maybe ( I do not know the place ), it stays 420 mts above sea level, so it might give strategic position for artillery to control the highway…maybe freeing Anadan would lift the sieges… Read more »

Seems rat defenses are shattered to the north, that push north towards Fafin is a nice move and it seems to work nicely so far. Taking those towns will help to build pressure further north towards Nubbol and Azzaz, and also towards Al Bab if that’s next target.

I’m still curious to see when and where the encirclement will happen, with fight moving north it can be further up, it’s gettin increasingly hard for terrorist defenders to cover front so long, with possibility of breakthrough anywhere.

Interesting article from FARSnews. http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13930418001324 We can certainly see the turmoil in northern Aleppo, this article brings a bit more detail on the strategy for the northern border, things are really working well for Aleppo, read it carefully, lots of between the lines details and messages. TEHRAN (FNA)- A majority of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists fighting against President Bashar A-Assad’s government in the Northern Syrian province of Aleppo have fled to Turkey following their leaders, military sources said. “Most of the terrorist ringleaders fighting in Aleppo city and province have fled to Turkey due… Read more »
