IDLIB: SYRIAN ARMY BREAKS SIEGES OF WAADI AL-DHAYF AND AL-HAAMIDIYYA BASES; HUNDREDS OF RATS KILLED

syrian army

URGENT NEWS:  The reports are flowing in confirming the Syrian Army’s crushing assault on the terrorist rodents who had encircled the Waadi Al-Dhayf Base and the Al-Haamidiyya Base in Idlib.  There is no stopping the SAA now as momentum bolstered by military expertise have taken center stage in the war against the plague of nihilistic Wahhabism.  Wael reports that the carcasses of hundreds of rodents dot the countryside as orders came in from Turkey to “hold positions at all costs”.  It was not a clever directive.  Almost all the rodents here were Qatari-financed Nusra freaks of nature.  They have been annihilated.

i note that the SAA uses artillery to good effect? are we talking hundreds of pieces of artillery eg towed, self propelled, grads. or small mobile units with a few dozen pieces? according to wikepedia syria has around 5000 pieces of artillery. that is substantial. they have also received advanced rocket artillery from russia. all in all a very formidable set up. do they still use the t55 tanks. or have they been retired. obsolete anyway

David; I see you have never experienced war! T-55 is far from “obsolete” as long as you apply it in a reasonable role, and SAA uses it as stationary artillery sniper fire. It will fire a 35 lbs 100 mm shell, at 900 m/s, and deliver a 4 lbs bursting charge with acceptable accuracy. It is excellent for engaging MG nests, firing positions behind cover, and enemy fortifications and transportation.

I don’t think that it’s likely, Nini, but it is possible. Be well, my friend.

Most of, sure. Aleppo, Homs… but Raqqa is not a major city. I would bide my time, no reason to hurry, attacking in the streets is bad business. The progress being made is impressive enough – if you look at the kickbacks, then IS only managed to overrun some air bases, and other rats do manage to get into a hamlet here and there. But that’s not strategic, that’s only good for PR.
Easy does it.

This is great new to wake up to! Keep on pushing ahead SAA. I can’t wait until they manage to secure Aleppo! I heard from sources in Damascus that there is apparently a serious shortage of water due to the actions of these stupid terrorists. Hopefully the government is able restore things back to normal soon.

Sind diese beiden Basen nicht in der Provinz IDLEB? Östlich und südlich von Maarat Al Numan?

I seriously hope so. But they will stay close with Israel. And rats are rats, no matter the label.

Nice, great news. Can’t wait to see SAA push from south and liberation of Khan Shaykhun, as things go it seems only a matter of time when it happens. And then many options for SAA will open, close to east is an important air base of Abu al Duhur, which could be then attacked from both east and west side. Also, not far north is Maarat al Nuuman where SAA can cut way through up to Idlib and take control of all highway. Rats can easily find themselves in a nice pocket again. Prospects are grim for them one way… Read more »

This is excellent news, the timing is perfect to coordinate with the big push at Khan Sheikhoun, rats will be pressure from the south and from the north on M5. Again, incredible timing.
