NOTORIOUS ISIS LEADER KILLED IN QALAMOON BY SYRIAN ARMY

Abu Talaal is the vulture on top.

Syrian Army artillery and the Syrian Air Force combined to assault a meeting of ISIS and Nusra leaders in the foothills of Faleeta on the Lebanese border.   At the meeting were several wanted criminals belonging to the ISIS heresy.  Of note, Abu Talaal Al-Hamad, the Ameer of ISIS in the Qalamoon was sent straight to Hell with his feet kicking at the Heavens.  He inherited his position after the death of Abu Hassan Al-Filasteezi.

Confirmed wounded were:

Abu Faatima (Ameer of “Liwaa` Al-Suqoor Al-Muhammadiyya”, Mohammedan Falcons Brigade, Oh yawn)

Karam Ammoon (a Nusra leader in Faleeta)

Safwaan ‘Awda

Logic ? That’s the wrong question. Americans see certain things as “self-evident”. That is more human than logic. When Americans see no way out in a discussion, when you tell them they are not a democracy, they say, “no, we’re not. And what for, we are a And as long as they can do that, they will. As soon as we can bomb America, we will have to. I Americans DO NOT CARE to understand the situation in Syria. Most know something is wrong but don’t care. Why would they hold Syria over America ? Americans don’t give a fuck about israel. Israel is just an excuse to have presence in the middle east. It’s like Syria for Russia. Why do you think american relations with Israel are so fucked right now? becuase, they wanted israel to atack Iran, but they didn’t, becuase they knew they were going to possibly get anal from the rest of the arab states.

Not quite so simple Jaunito. Many Americans are quite brainwashed, especially the fundamentalist Christians, and indoctrinated to “love” israel. it would be good if the current tension between israel and the US is real. Right now, US foreign policy is dictated by Zionists and the israeli Lobby. These traitorous tyrants must be removed.

The Obama regime feel that they can dictate whatever they wish to the rest of the world based solely on military force. That force is going to have a hell of a time keeping up with the Russians and the Chinese and is rapidly waning. “In response, Russia sent an unarmed bomber Su- 24 to fly around the U.S. destroyer. However, experts say that this plane was equipped with the latest Russian electronic warfare complex. According to this version, “Aegis” spotted from afar the approaching aircraft, and sounded alarm. President Assad said in an interview last year that local ceasefires and reconciliation agreements may be even more important than military victories. Did you ever consider that people on the ground (Syrian people), fighting for their lives might have a more informed, perhaps even a more nuanced, view of the situation than you do?

Good post-considering that this war has lasted four years President Assad has to think outside the box and work on reconciliation as much as possible. The one thing about this site I don’t care for are the arm chair strategists planning their military campaigns on the internet some of whom have never been within a country mile of Syria. I will always remember the blogger who wanted Syria to build a ten foot wall between Lebanon and Syria.

What’s not hilarious is that Assad is the one who withdrew from Lebanon. He could have done something truly outside the box, but he does not think outside the box, he operates in the reality that others create while treating Syria and Syrians as a people without a will and without a destiny. In fact, he teaches them that their destiny is to be without a will, and to will themselves whatever destiny offers them as their fate. For to think and act as independent people they would naturally be harder to rule. This is the true cost of the… Read more »

Assad is a pragmatist. He is not a principled leader and does not make decisions on the basis of principles. There is nothing sacred to him. This is a problem for true nationalists and anyone who believes in the foundational pillars of a state and what it should never do, like surrender its own sovereignty to foreign powers, and much more. Principles stand in the way of a politician who wants to preserve power since he may be at odds with principles and the raison d’etre of the state itself. An excellent analysis, thanks. This ‘crisis’ has made it patently evident that Assad is a man with no pride in the Nation he putatively ‘leads’, nor does he respect its People, but sets self-preservation and/or the status quo established by Daddy above both. How else to explain this clause in the 2012 Constitution: “Article 117 – The President of the Republic is not responsible for the acts he does in carrying out his duties, except in the case of high treason;” Thus, in this nominal ‘Republic’, torture, murder and every other breach of law [except one, against himself] are permitted… Read more »

Wrong, Syria is not a secular state: the Constitution stipulates the President has to be a Muslim, then contradicts itself by stating all citizens are equal before the law, and the Government sponsors certain religions by having Muftis etc on its payroll.

i.e. Religion is used as another tool by the State/Ba’ath Party to maintain its control of the People.

Syria has never proclaimed itself to be a model democracy, and it is certainly not the only “Republic” that falls short of the ideal of what a republic strives to be. Yet Syria before the current war served as model for a small nation in which over twenty distinct ethnic and religious groups coexist harmoniously. Zionism is NOT rooted in anti-Semitism. It is a racist ideology designed to steal land by force, and as history shows it can only be instituted by the most vicious aggression and maintained by constant war, propaganda, terrorism and deceit. Although I know some people disagree, Zionism is distinct from the Jewish people as a whole. In my life I have known many fine Jewish individuals, but Zionism is a criminal and evil ideology. There is a growing rift between Israel and many American Jews. One can hope this rift becomes a complete division and separation.

When Kissinger says the situation is NOT “a vicious dictator against a helpless population”, then that means a change of paradigm.
Because Obama still says it is. a vicious… and all the MSM say that to all the well-fed fools in the West.

If Kissinger says this to an important international MSM organ, then THE OLIGARCHY want it to be known and understood that something is in the works. Do you get it ?

Anon: it appears that the initial attack was from starboard, since the liner turns into the damaged (starboard) engine, crossing the flight path of the enemy aircraft, which may have then made a gun pass from port before disengaging. We know that the starboard engine was destroyed by an air-to-air missile, plus there are alleged to be 30 mm shell holes in the port side of the cockpit, with convincing looking pictures. Unfortunately the flight path data for the enemy aircraft doesn’t continue past the time of the crash, so the radar data may be convincing, but is not definitve.

At that them the firing of the missile was not able to be shown because the Russian radar was an older one, but the immediate loss of speed and rapid loss of control were noted, as will as the Ukie aircraft track leaving the scene of the crime. the site “Syria 360 degrees” has every official military communique on the progress of the fighting every day of the week. The weakness of it is, if there is any, is that they identify towns that cannot be located on general maps.. Reading the communiques, it is amazing that there are any rodents left in Syria.

Hi ariston, we all would love to hear more often from Ziad, he has a unique way to comvey the raw reality of this conflict, his contacts in Syria are solid and his view of geopolitics involved is crucial for the macro understanding, but he has a full time job and it is hard to combine both plus move on with the daily life. I mostly agree with the sentiments of ‘Syrian not Arab’ with regard to Assad. The situation in Syria is becoming ever more critical, this can be felt at the surface now, it is at such times that the weak and corrupt try to save themselves and their corrupt regimes from the inevitable-all out war with ‘international intervention’. That is why De Mistura is finding an audience in Syria now, that is why the talk of political solution has resurfaced again, that is why there is talk of ‘freezing the fighting’, that is why America has said it is looking to… Read more »

Islam is an extremist ideology. Hitler admired the Islamic attempt at world conquest and wished his nation did not have the peaceful message of Christianity as a guiding value system which he had to work against. He said even Islam would be more suitable. He used the genocide of Christians in Asia Minor as an example to follow in annihilating the Jews. So, you might want to consider what extremist ideologies you will permit others. Arabism is merely secular Islamic imperialism so it is ridiculous to call it anti-imperialist. Judaism, Islam’s twin sister, is equally absolutist and supremacist in nature,… Read more »

You may be overly optimistic. If there is truly ‘no shortage of good options in the officer class’, why have they for years already tolerated the crass incompetence of Assad presiding over the accelerating destruction of the country?

IMO, the latest useful moment to depose Assad was when he literally invited the Yanki Pigforce into bombing the country, by chinlessly telegraphing that he would raise no defence. That certainly qualifies as high treason in my book.

I believe they have tolerated Assad (wrongly) because of what he represents as the president of Syria, not because of his personal value which is near to zero. There is no doubt that at the outset of the Syrian ‘crisis’ Assad would have been seriously thinking of leaving and abandoning his post, he was unable to do so due to the weight of internal opinion amongst decision makers against him. Then he tried to be a ‘reformer’ and ‘lead Syria to democracy’ as the Turks and Americans proposed that he do, but yet again he was unable to do so… Read more »

According to Almasdarnews.com – Earlier today, Jabhat Al-Nusra suffered a major loss to their central command in the Qalamoun Mountains after their field commander, “Abu Taha’”, was killed along with 3 of his aides by the SAA near the village of Faleeta. Abu Taha’s death comes 2 days after the SAA killed 2 other field commanders from Jabhat Al-Nusra: “Abu Talal” and “Abu ‘Ali ‘Amoun”.

Both Nusra and ISIS seem to have lost a hell of a lot of field commanders and leaders in Qualamoun in recent months. No wonder they have failed at everything they tried.

As SyAF pilots have been complaining recently about their extreme workload, Dad’s Army top brass has hit upon an ingenious ‘outside-the-box’ scheme to radically reduce their flight hours — donating a metric fucktonne of Russian Igla MANPADS to FSA/JAN, from the Brigade 112 base at Nawa.

General al-Freij is to be congratulated for this feat of military logistics outsourcing, which will, so to speak, easily kill his whole flock of barrel-bombing ‘birds’ with one stone!

Surely a ‘Ba’athist of the Year’ award looms for this triumph?

The biggest problem is Pissrahell and rat kingdom Jordan with Patriots covering the rat “offensive”. But no matter, SAA effectively protects the REALLY important supply lines to Daraa for 2 years. The rat commanders can talk for hours about some captured junk, it will not change the military reality in the south.
So Dads Airforce can relax and does not need to waste any barrels, but they hopefully throw some on your head, idiot, the rusty metal could at least fill the emptiness inside and create some intelligence.

A bit off topic, but interesting enough to share.

Russian Sukhois Force Aegis Failure

If this is true, it’s quite shocking. The Aegis system has been the pride of the US Navy’s weapons arsenal for more than 20 years. A whole class of nuclear-capable guided missile cruisers and destroyers have been outfitted with this system.

Maybe this lack of preparedness is what happens when you spend the last 60 years bombing countries that can’t defend themselves. You’re not challenged, so you don’t really know how you would hold up when someone who can kick your ass decides to f-ck with you.

Arklight, I don’t know about ‘relieved’.
My mail says twenty or so went AWOL in the Roumanian city that was their next port of call, and said they would refuse duty on such an undefendable ship! Well well!
The takeaway by veteranstoday is that AEGIS only works if it is being used across a whole flotilla. A single ship is vulnerable.
The system will undoubtedly be in the upcoming MiG-31.

Though 3 tons is much more than what Iran used to produce in a year, it is not much compared to other countries, largest producer is China with over 400 tons/yr, US, Russia comes with nearly 200 tons/yr and many countries on the 50-150 tons yr.
Even with their plant to produce 6 tons/yr is still small vs the global out put, anyway Gold is Gold and wort a lot as reserve and hard currency for trading, any country should boost gold reserves now vs the US$, Gold is cheap now and will increase several fold in the coming years.
