NUSRA/ISIS FALL IN HOMS AS SYRIAN ARMY CONTINUES ONSLAUGHT

الجيش السوري يستعيد آبار نفط وغاز في ريف تدمر من المسلحين

HOMS:

Al-Wa’er:  An attempted infiltration from Al-Wa’er into Al-Khuraab Bridge failed miserably again with the mostly foreign degenerates losing 9 rats.  The siege of Al-Wa’er by the SAA during this particular season has been very effective in starving out the rodents.  They are trying to escape or expand their sphere of operations to permit greater access to food and supplies.  It’s not working. The SAA is simply waiting them out.

Al-Rastan Industrial Area:  The SAA invaded a warehouse filled with weapons belonging to Nusra and killed 4 foreign rats. They were 2 Jordanians and 2 from Turkey.

Jabbooreen: About 19kms from Homs. Another encroachment by Nusra from Umm Sharshooh area, Al-Hilaaliyya Farms, and Bayt Raabi’ah flopped when excellent intelligence alerted the SAA hours ahead of time allowing our soldiers to prepare for the attack.  The area is still being assessed.  All we know is that the rats lost many of their own.

Musay’id:  An attempted infiltration to Al-Mas’oodiyya about 15kms from the Lebanese border by Nusra, again, was a complete and utter disaster.  5 rats were killed as another 20+ disbanded and headed for the hills.

‘Ayn Al-Danaaneer: About 25kms N/E of the City.  Another Nusra encroachment from Al-‘Aamiriyya came a cropper.  13 Nusra rats killed:

‘Izzeddeen Village:  Northern Homs area of Al-Shaa’er Mountain where SAA is very active in pursuing remnant rodents after crushing them here a week ago.  SAA attacked a pack of ISIS rats killing 15 of their litter including these:

Sanad Al-Shuqayti (ISIS pack leader)

“Abu Islam” (Id pending)

Durayd ‘Ali Jum’ah

The rest were all deemed foreign.  Many from Iraq.

Waadi Al-Samarmarr:  SAA killed large number of rats in a firefight.

Al-Dughli Farms:  The SAA attacked the HQ of Nusra here 3 days ago in the Talbeesa area, 13kms from Homs City killing 23 rodents.  I have no names.

Ruhoom Village:  This village belongs to Jubb Al-Jarraah located in the Al-Mukharram Mountains.  7 ISIS rats killed.

تصفية عشرات الإرهابيين في ريف الحسكة

Kafr Laahaa:  On November 12, 2014, 27kms from Homs City and in the Hoolaa, the SAA killed 11 rodents from ISIS.

Canthama, what do you make of this report from Ziad: “Izzeddeen Village: Northern Homs area of Al-Shaa’er Mountain where SAA is very active in pursuing remnant rodents after crushing them here a week ago. SAA attacked a pack of ISIS rats killing 15 of their litter…” The rats must have lost a thousand men or so in the two campaigns to capture the Al-Shaa’er fields in July and November. You can double or triple that number for seriously wounded. So why are they still roaming around the region like zombies walking unthinkingly into a meat-grinder? It suggests to me that… Read more »

I actually believe ISIS knows how deeply important it is for them to control that area, after few months of several failed tentatives, I do believe they will continue to place a lot of strategic value on it and more attacks will happen, few reasons in my rational : 1) Energy bargain against the Syrian Government (oil & gas fields and their thermoelectric plants in central Homs supply the majority of power to Damascus and Homs). 2) Control the route from Homs/Damascus to Der Ez Zor, the latter under severe attack by SAA and ISIS is about to lose big… Read more »

I wish the rebels in homs would break out of the siege and join the IS. It is imperative to get them all in a single bunch that does not allow the US to atack Syria, but makes them cooperate. I do share your feelings Canthama, It’s a disgrace to see those black dots arround Hama.

Cathama, Al Sha’ar mountain range is like the perfect front line defense for the SAA. As you mention it protect the power plant, gas delivery and some crucial infrastructure (Hama/Homs (Palmyra, Homs city)/Aleppo (Khanasser) and the northern Damascus countryside). As of those villages. They are ‘important’ but will take long to clean if i look closely at the terrain involved. A job perfect for the special forces who are locked in other, at this point, more important battles. I really think Idlib/Aleppo/Rif dimasq and the city of Deir Ez-Zor are by far more important now. ISIS is showing, just as… Read more »

Anyway, the cleanning may be happening as we speak without much noise…keep your opinions coming.

Hi Canthama,

i think its because there is popular support in northern Homs for the rebel/terrorists. Rastan and Talbiseh have always been centers of the early revolution and i guess this is why they do hold out so long.

Maybe the Government is hoping that the people of northern Homs will see that they did bet on the wrong horse and maybe there can be a peace agreement.
The hardcore jihadist/idiots will not surrender anyways but if the population turns against them they might run away to fight for another day on another front.

In my humble opinion, it wouldn’t be enough to just reach Shqayet if YPG will allow supplies for rats inside Sheikh Maqsood. It’s a risk can’t be taken.

Watcher, I believe they have a lot extra cannon fodder, but to waste like trying to break the two best defended cities besides Damascus is really as close as stupidity. Putin and the French Jewish fm are in perfect accord on Aleppo, one of them tells it how it is by saying that the Syrian army is on the verge of controlling Aleppo and must be stopped, while the other hides behind the ‘freeze fighting’ initiative and talk of ‘political solution’ to stop the Syrian army in its tracks. So many good news coming the whole time now. I really, really hope Aleppo can be cleansed from the rodents soon. It will be a huge loss for US imperialism. The US and their lapdogs will try to play down these news on TV and radio of course, perhaps even strike a desperate counteroffensive with new rodents from Turkey and Iraq. But a true cleanse will give the Syrian Arab Army a hopeful upper hand against more those.

does anyone recognize that the IS try to reach Damascus and southern front? If not they would´t start those silly attacks in the desert. But the lines for their storrages of food and ammunition are very long there, so you cvan be sure they will attack outposts on their way: a perfect situation for awesome ambushes.
Just put some remote controlled mines at the roads before these outposts and wait…the rats will come and it´s easy to kill them in the desert, where´s nothing to hide.

The southern front rats are fed from Israel and Jordan, with SAA and partners knocking off the rats faster than they can come in country; they are not, anymore, as much concerned about getting into Damascus as they are about getting out. Anon: The motley rats are a whole lot late with their ‘real people’ disguise; the people who are left in the area have already seen them as the thugs that they are. As SAA and its partners keep sweeping west from Suwayda the rats will be increasingly squeezed, and eventually killed or driven out of the country. Personally, I think that SAA shouldn’t be too concerned with prisoners, except as subjects for enhanced interrogation, then turned into fertilizer.
