IS IT THE END FOR ISIS IN DAYR EL ZOR? THE SYRIAN ARMY SAYS “YES”

11528

It is hard to imagine how much longer the rats of ISIS can hold out in Dayr El-Zor what with over 200 of their own being executed in Al-Raqqa for desertion last week.  So sad.  The assault on the airbase, as you now know, was a flop.  4 separate efforts with the usual cast of suicidal derelicts from Pakistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan or Barfghanistan didn’t make one bit of difference or a whit of sense.  The army at the base is very well armed and led by a brilliant commander who’s not afraid to get in on the action.

Al-Muree’iyya:  Today, the SAA had a field day killing and sniping gathering rodents in this town on the Euphrates.  These are the confirmed carcasses:

Abu Al-Baraa` ‘Abbaas (LIBYAN SKUNK ODOR GLAND)

Jihaad ‘Arraaf Al-Madfoon

Ahmad Jaassim Al-Khalaf

‘Izzeddeen Sibtaan Al-Naasser

Fu`aad Ahmad Majeed

Firaas ‘Abdul-Baaqi Ahmad Al-Sirhaan

Sufyaan Taalib Al-Batti

Ahmad Faaris

Luqmaan Sa’eed Al-Shahroor

Nizaar Mahmoud Tawwaaf

Faadhil Khaleel Al-Raa’iy

Muhammad ‘Adnaan Balsami

Daawood Sulaymaan Salaama

Muhamamd Hassan Al-Najjaar

Hamaada Muhjim Al-Hassan

11 others could not be identified and are believed to be foreigners.

Al-Bu-‘Umar Village:  26 rodents dead on the left bank of the Euphrates. Shu’aytaat militia came out in droves and beheaded 6 ISIS vermin as the SAA tried to stop them.  Vengeance is so sweet.

الجيش السوري يحكم سيطرته على مزارع الملاح وجنوب وغرب حندرات بريف حلب

Jaffra Village:  More ISIS flies drop like, well, flies!  10 confirmed dead insects and all weapons and ammunition distributed to our militias.

Bayt Dughaym:  An armored truck loaded with explosives and 4 rodents exploded courtesy of the SAA just east of the airbase.  All were killed. No names.

Huwayjat Sakr:  SAAF very active overhead.  Reports of packs of rats scattering as bombers strafe positions on the island.

DAYR EL-ZOR:  SAA continues to mop up in several areas like Al-Jubayla, Al-Rushdiyya, Old Intilaaq Neighborhood (3 Kuwaitis and 1 Tunisian killed), Al-Huwayqa, Al-Rusaafa.

AL-HASAKA:

تفكيك سيارة مفخخة بأكثر من 300 كغ من المتفجرات في الحسكة

City: At the Teachers’ Union Building: (December 14, 2014) A car rigged to explode by remote control was neutralized by an SAA sapper.  The Hyundai was stolen and contained 300 kgs of TNT and C-4 and was laced with buckshot for added atrocity.

Al-Siddeeq Village and Al-Rahf Farms Crossroad:  3 pickups with 23mm machine gun cannons were destroyed 15 kms from the city.  No other details.

Al-Maylabiyya area:  15 ISIS cockroaches killed in vans loaded with weapons and ammunition.  The SAA was successful here in beating back an assault to cut off the roadway to Al-Shidaadi.

Al-Manaajeer Village:  SAA defeated an attempted infiltration and killed 6 rodents.

Al-Aghbeesh Village:  Same as above. SAA stopped an attempted infiltration.  No other details.

Tal Al-Safaa in the area of Kobane:  SAA in action prevented movement of ISIS vermin toward the Kurdish held town.

Tal Tamr International Highway:  SAA killed 14 ISIS rats in an ambush.

Al-Shibayb:  South of the city.  A pack of ISIS rodents was destroyed.

It could well be the end for ISIS in Deir Ezzor. If they lose the city and its environs, as seems likely, the next step will be the oil fields to the south east and if they lose them, the next step will probably be Raqqa and their entire position in the east of Syria would collapse.

In a previous post, someone said that ISIS had lost 1,400 fighters in 80 days of fighting in Kobani/Ayn Al Arab. In Deir Ezzor, they lost a minimum of 450 between 3 September and 28 November, if you tot up the figures in the Wikipedia article on the Battle of Deir Ezzor. That is before the present campaign began against the airbase and other targets in the area in which they must have lost in the region of 1,000 so far if the reports from various sources are anyway accurate. The previous poster also mentioned serious rifts opening up within… Read more »

Shinaydeen: So far as ISIS gunfighting each other, that’s alright with me, since any dead rat is a good rat. Then, too – – every time ISIS/ISIL kills a tribesman or woman, it creates mortal enemies who will come for them when they are able. Not too smart, hih? I also agree that ISIS losses at 1,000 or more in DZ, and probably more. The think is, the action seems to be all on the west bank of Euphrates, so I guess SAA has not forced a crossing as of yet. Soon, I hope.

I agree, Arklight. The SAA does not seem to be concerned with crossing to the east bank so far. The area seems to be mainly rural with small hamlets. It would probably not be an efficient use of resources to ferret ISIS out of these many small bases. The main concentration seems to be to cut off all means of re-supply to ISIS from across the river (mostly achieved, I think). Once that is achieved, ISIS forces in the city can be encircled and starved out. Having achieved that, it would seem logical to me to ignore the small hamlets… Read more »

Hopefully SAA does not allow Douche-bags some time to recuperate and to regroup. SAA has helicopters with which they can infiltrate 30 men behind enemy positions, and raid one of their field hospitals, or something that will just completely ruin their morale. Allocating more resources to DZ front at this moment may be something to consider in order to fully turn the tide against Douche-bags. Momentum. Build off of the current momentum to gain more momentum. Its critical how eastern tribes perceive these outcomes. Some have already joined the army to help. Syrian soldiers are dying for our freedom. I admire those guys and bow to their courage, but I feel ashamed that we are not doing anything to really help them. Don’t you think that the time to organize an international brigade has come?

Definitely. That would be highly beneficial. I mean there ARE a couple of guys there fighting with the SAA, but what we need is a couple batallions of people who simply POSE as fighters, Western clean cut kids who make it clear that they stand for and respect the Syrian republic. they don’t need to fight or risk anything, they can take a holiday in Latakia. And that would enable us to win the propaganda war. MUCH more important than a battle.

Exactly, this is more or less what I mean. It’s time to show that there are a lot of people who are ready to commit themselves for the right cause, that intelligent Southern Americans, Africans, Asians, and Westerners (in the latter case, their numbers are constantly diminishing, but someone is still there) have understood what’s going on and are not willing to let Syria and their freedom to be completely destroyed. I have heard similar descriptions as yours, about Syria – that was what initially made me realize that there was a nonsensical campaign being waged, in early 2012 – as in Libya. Sure, absolutely.
Well, we need some creative input from the government here I guess. It’s not by any means impossible. Ziad, what say you ?

Ziad told us that if you cannot speak Arabic you will not do well since most Syrian officers do not speak Spanish or English. and that your life expectancy would be limited. I think that quite a few Syrians do speak French though. As an English speaker only I will stick to sending money if I can find a reliable charity. I wonder about the Chinese Muslims fighting in Syria for ISIS and how they communicate with their commanders -or for that matter the Germans.

I am also aware of the linguistic obstacles, but as you correctly notice regarding ISIS, these are evidently not the kind of problems which make a cooperation impossible (a much nicer example is for instance the close connections between Palestinian resistance and European armed oppositions during the 70s). We should not forget that there are plenty of Lebanese Hezbollah supporters and members who know French and English, and also plenty of translators in Syria. As JackFtrolls suggested, moreover, there are several other brilliant ways to imagine such a European Battalion and its use. It’s just a matter of organization. If… Read more »

You are right. I forgot about the Lebanese. French is a second language to many of them. I wish I knew the name and address of a reliable Syrian support charity. To answer the above question: Such head cases could walk anyway only at the hand of their handlers like a toddler. They do not have the problem that they are not understood. You could count their number probably with one hands fingers.

While queues of some hundreds are waiting to be transferred from Europe and elsewhere through Turkey into Syria, the chances to fill up the infidels’ ranks with fresh meat aren’t too bad. Those don’t compensate the loss of hardened fighters, but they still create an image of a potent opponent to the world. Why Saudi Arabia is Picking Up Lebanon’s $3 Billion Weapons Tab https://news.vice.com/article/why-saudi-arabia-is-picking-up-lebanons-3-billion-weapons-tab?utm_source=vicenewsyoutube So what exactly does $3 billion worth of equipment look like? According to La Tribune, which claims it got its hands on the list of weapons France will deliver to Lebanon, the arsenal will include armored personnel carriers equipped with gun turrets, light armored vehicles equipped with Mistral surface-to-air missile systems, Gazelle helicopters and transport helicopters, and three patrol ships furnished with Simbad missiles. ISIS already has drones which have been used to little effect in Deir Ezzor and Kobani.

The French were to be paid $3 billion by the Saudi degenerates to deliver equipment to the Lebanese Army. Does anybody know if a) the Saudis handed over the money; b) the French have delivered a single item yet?

Shinaydeen: The French are pretty good at collecting payment in advance but delivery? Not so much.

In a recent report, Ziad wrote about the Mossad agent Khaalid Mish’al and the role he played in the duplicity of Hamas in their plot to portray the Palestinian people and their struggle as inimical to the Syrian government. The Hamas position has since fallen to pieces and their leaders are begging for reconciliation with Damascus and Teheran. But the damage they have wrought continues on. They tried to manipulate the situation in the Palestinian Yarmouk Camp in Damascus to falsely create the image of Palestinians opposed to Assad. The US and the UN (to its eternal shame) tried to… Read more »
