SYRIAN ARMY LIBERATES 9 STRATEGIC POINTS OVER AL-ZABADAANI; ALQAEDA IN RUINS BEHIND ZIONIST LINES

It is official, the Syrian Army has liberated the following strategic points above Al-Zabadaani giving the SAA unparalleled artillery supremacy over the entire area.  The points were liberated in a precisely choreographed and synchronized assault on rat terrorists of Alqaeda/Nusra which caught the rodents by surprise resulting in their helterish-skelterish withdrawal back to Zionist borders where they could expect both succor and medical treatment from Warsaw Ghetto quacks.  Here are the names of the liberated positions:

  • Qarqamaaz Hilltop
  • Ra`s Al-Khash’ah
  • Sheer Al-Qurna
  • Sheer Al-Huwwa
  • Shu’ayb Al-`Aalid
  • Bi`r Kaasu
  • Qassr Al-Nimrood
  • Jabal Al-Shaykh Mansoor
  • Ra`s Al-Qarn

With these positions now in the hands of the legitimate Syrian government authorities,  there is complete artillery control over all supply routes to any remnant vermin remaining in the area.  It is expected that the rats who have not made their peace with the SAA in Al-Zabadaani, will follow a tortuous route back to the Zionist Abomination.

Canthama, I am very glad that you stay with Syrper. I myself have stopped to comment last year, when we all knew about the defeat at the Al-Shaer gas fields but were not allowed by the host to talk about it. It has some ingredients of a tragedy. Most of the readers and commentators seem to be pro-government, pro-SAA, pro-Hizbollah, anti-Zionist, anti-US imperialism, anti-Wahhabism, yet there are individual clashes wih Ziad from time to time. While admiring your prudence, I understand Radio’s sarcasm very well. This is a war, you are right, there are discouraging defeats. Not to the least… Read more »

The events in Idlib started Wednesday last week, on Thursday there was a demand for all ratnews to stop reporting anything from this front, the same happened with the Syrian forces, so events on Friday, Saturday and most of Sunday were very cloudy, a perfect place for fishy reports and statements, full of expeculation and with clear intention to provoke panic at the NDFs defending Idlib, it is ISIS tactic used by the Turkish trained Al Nusrats, same… Read more »

So, you reckon this was a cunning SAA ploy to hand Idlib over to Al Nusra, trapping them into a small space to be destroyed en masse, along with the whole city, instead of remaining in the ‘strong defences’ and pouring the fire onto their concentrations before the attack, which was fully expected 3 weeks in advance, ever began?

Well, I never thought they could be that stupid, but you obviously have … wait, is this meant as parody?

I do always agree with Ziad’s optimistic assessment but I am not sure I agree with the mainstream media on Idllb, either. I find it strange that SANA is blocked on my computer again, which hasn’t happened in my memory since 2012, when the Aleppo battle began. Obviously, there is a major Psyops campaign going on by the U.S. One think cannot be denied–Aleppo is surrounded (even the CIA-Wikipedia entry acknowledges this now) and Damascus is safer than Washington, DC these days. The Lebanese front has been quieted and so the major action is from Turkey and Jordan (with the… Read more »

Irrespective of the usual back-and-forth on the ground, the political map appears to be tilting heavily against Assad’s Syria: 1. The rapid conquest of Idlib has shown the effect of Turkey/Qatar/Saud’s joint determination to funnel practically unlimited support to the ‘rebels’, including JAN. 2. If this continues, the fall of Aleppo is a question of IMHO two months at most. 3. Turkey has long been pushing for its FSA-type stooges to establish an ‘Opposition Government’ in Syrian territory … that could happen in Idlib now, if they can overcome the objections of JAN et al, or Aleppo somewhat later. 4.… Read more »

The way how was described in western mainstream media looked like more a stampede than a retreat in good order with the civilians fleeing away in panic. I still can’t understand how they could let it happened like that: SAA held that town for more than 3 years and a try to assault it was made not very much time ago by islamist monkeys, why they didn’t strenghtened the defences and disseminated the city with booby traps and mine fields? Al Masdar news now also confirms the loss of Idlib.

– Al-Mastouma is now under attack
– Kafaya and Al Fu’ah are now isolated.

So, let’s see if there is going to be some kind of counter attack in the coming days. One thing is sure: those who evacuated Idlib after the outer perimeter was broken aren’t going to do it.

It’s not that important cause the town is lost (I strongly doubt the SAA has in reserve the troops for a heavy counter-attack in these hours), but probably someone got bribed.
I hope that.
Because losing a large town for incompetence is unacceptable

The SAA is doing an excellent job mostly everywhere. The only explanation for what is said to have happened in Idlib is the possibility that someone in high position got bribed. These terrorist enablers will PAY big money to obtain such huge propaganda. Bashar himself has to intervene by firing or removing any suspected individual from such important positions.

If this turns out to be true, consider that:

1)The takfiris do not have a tunnel network in Idlib. That kind of infrastructure takes weeks, months, even years to develop.

2) The SAA knows this city like the back of its hand; the foreign takfiris, not so much.

As I am watching the media war around Idlib I am not sure about the outcome. One thing is sure: The initial story “Idlib has fallen” came once more from SOHR. Here is an article with a longer term strategic view translated from this page: https://nocheinparteibuch.wordpress.com/2015/03/29/al-kaida-erobert-provinzhauptstadt-idlib/ Al-Qaeda captures provincial capital Idlib According to media reports Al-Qaeda linked Nusra terrorists and Jund AlAqsa as well as affiliated terror group Ahrar Al Sham captured the provincial capital of Idlib from Syrian government forces. The Syrian news agency SANA reported on Saturday that the Syrian army regrouped in the South of the city and that in the course of fighting hundreds of terrorists were eliminated which can be seen as indirect confirmation that the city has been captured by terrorists. @Diet It’s interesting that the casualties from the Syrian army was relatively low. For being such a major event, we’re not seeing the usual terrorist propaganda of videos of countless of bodies, or mass captives, like we did when Taqba fell. It all seems out of place. No wonder that many supporters of terrorists ARE jubilant, if the city fell definitely is an important milestone for Al Qaeda, I was surprised but the perfidy of verbal attacks Ziad. Surely many readers should be gamers who think that atrocious war-ravaged Syria is like a video game, and now it taunt those who lost. Hopefully all of us we had clear that if Syrian lose this war, then we all lose, it does not end… Read more »

That was not a gamer attack, it was well aimed… I sometimes had the impression that about a dozen of them were here, but I’ve been testing around and and two motivated guys could have done it. It’s so easy to switch identities here that you can write ten comments in half an hour, each time as a different person, and at the same time upvote your own comments. So what does yesterday tell us ? Not much, just that there was some surprise action followed by a high-manpower attack, which partially succeeded due to an NDF traitor’s action. And… Read more »

The problem is we know what happens every time Al Qaeda takes over a population, hideous brutality which the MSM covers for, and the bastards glory, in and spread it all over social media.

The spoils of war always occur for victorious armies, even those that are disciplined, but Al Qaeda take it to another level ,barbarity not seen since medieval times

Accusations abound, and everyone piles in, then you’ve got to deal with multiple Mentats shit stirring. It was difficult

Sheer waste of time to actually argue with them, honor them sort of,
It’s better to make it clear that they are not being taken seriously.

A tactical withdrawal/redeployment more favorable for the SAA. Nothing new or shocking. The enemy has been drawn out and is now easier to target with heavy weapons and aerial attacks. Again, the loss of Idlib is a tactical problem but not a strategic disaster. Idlib will be recouped when the time is right. The big news is being made in more strategic fronts that have a bearing on the balance of the war. Aleppo, Der el Zor, E Hasaaka, Hama and Homs, Qalamoun, Quneytra, and NW Daraa are coming more and more under government control. These battles will determine the… Read more »

The events in Idlib are as of yet unclear and appear -through the propaganda fog – perhaps to be dispiriting. We shall see.
What is important is whatever gains the rats have made are at a heavy cost to them . Attrition is wearing away at their power.
It was always the case that they retained significant forces in Idlib province but were in danger of becoming innefective through slow wastage. They had to mount a spectacular, this is it.

Far more important is the situation in Allepo.

the leadership of the Airforce has betrayed the Syrian people. We can understand this because Wahabis could move all over Idleb without a simple airstrike.Of course there are A/T but pilots are veterans and the planes of very advanced technology but still this ” clever” tactic will continue forever.Pictures of Takfiris entering cities will from now on be successive .

Not sure why so many trolls were so certain all of Idlib has been taken It’s a big place. The news of the entire city falling came from ” Rami Abdel-Rahman, the head of the Syrian Observatory…. but, what is being held up as proof? “Rebels posted online pictures appearing to show them standing in front of provincial premises, a prison building and a police station. An online video showed rebels gathering purportedly in an Idlib square firing celebratory shots in the air. Other rebels in the footage are seen praying and thanking God as other comrades set fire to… Read more »

what no one is mentioning…. the fact that the enemy occupation of idlib is an advantage to the saa, the opposition is not made to hold large cities , they are a guerrilla force and they flourish where they can move lightly and attack then on to the next target, by taking idlib they are in a conundrum, because now they have to choose to devote alot of forces to holding and maintaining the city, which they aren’t really adept , as well they now have to concentrate their forces here to efficiently defend the city from attack. Well i disagree.
They will inslave residents to dig down fortifications and in 3-4 month time they can leave small garnison and use big city near border as a logistical base to mount an attack to latakia or flank aleppo.
They need to be thrown out of the city before they dig in.

It would require a major effort in men, equipment and time to fortify Idlib. The SAA and allies will harass with artillery, rockets and aerial attacks softening their rudimentary fortifications until ground operations can be launched. Remember how well Qusayr was fortified and defended and yet fell to the SAA and allies. This is not over and Idlig will be recouped.

The pro government media outlets will now try to bury the news of losing Idlib as the days pass by, witting that people will gradually lose interest in the circumstances of its fall and its potential recovery like so many other places before. Perhaps this is the reason SANA is unreachable for the past two days, instead of acknowledging a massive defeat in losing a provincial capital, a temporary blackout is imposed until people have accustomized to the new reality following which normal ‘reporting’ will resume. Two Saudi police officers were wounded in a drive-by shooting in Riyadh Sunday, a spokesman said, days after the Kingdom strengthened security measures as it leads air strikes on Yemen.

“A security patrol was carrying out its duties in Riyadh when it came under fire from an unknown vehicle” in an attack that “left two policemen wounded,” the spokesman said in a statement published on the official SPA news agency.

The two were admitted to hospital and “their health situation is stable,” the statement said. Authorities are investigating the incident, it added.
