This week, the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that their support of Syria will be unlimited. Over the past few weeks Iranian military leaders, both Republican Guard and the Al Quds brigade in particular, have assessed the situation on the ground. A plan of action has been developed and is being implemented at this time. No other source has this information. Information in the press is fabrication and conjecture. What is known and what can and will be told is here and will be nowhere else. Reinforcements from both Iran and Iraq have begun arriving in Syria… Read more »

Wishful thinking.
Syrian government has 5-10 men ready to replace anyone.
Even for Assad they have 20 other men ready to take his place.
This is the best counter strategy against assassinations by the Cia, Mossad, Mi6.
The Russians do the same in the Ukraine.

The crusaders round table organization worked in the same way against Arab assassinations.
Even though the Arabs did assassinate several/many crusader leaders, this never ever had any effect in their advantage during the crusader wars.

The faith of one man is never ever important.
Neither is my faith important.

Ziad, good to hear news from the south, sometimes it seems there is a stalemate there but it isn’t, action every days.

News on the web one more key hill was taken by SAA south of Jisr al Shughour, Tal Ghazal. There is a really good chance for the SAA to liberate Qastoun after the latest gains in this area, strategically very important to save guard the road and and to push nusrats further out.

ISIS is still trying to advance from the SE of the city, the SAA forces holding there got extra help from NDF and the Assyrian Christian Militia, though the battle seems fierce with ups and downs, it is believed the defense forces are well positioned. There is the equation: ISIS removed a large number of fighters from Syria to Iraq. It is impossible that they are attacking on all fronts in Syria. There must be a soft spot. If SAA would have the manpower that could be over quickly. But even so it should be possible to strike back in an intelligent way.

We always hear these estimates of 25000 to 30000 fighters. BS. IS cannot be on the offensive in the south of Syria, Deir Ezzor, north Aleppo, Hasaka, Ramadi, East Homs and hold the line in NE Syria, Qalamoon, Anbar and NE Iraq with only 25000 to 30000 fighters. ISIS can’t attack on all fronts and at the same time defend all his strongholds, villages and checkpoints with all his strenght, surely Raqqa in this moment shouldn’t be well-defended. Not for attacking it directly but to attack the villages and checkpoints outside. Yes and no. Yes I’m referring to that, Special Forces act like that (not all SF but raiders mostly, fighting deep in enemy territory ). But the main problem we have it’s the chronical lack of menpower SAA has. And Special Forces requires years (up to 5) to train, not to mention the highly superior equipment which makes them highly costly. And the COST-EFFECT here is negative: if Syria lose 10 SF’s men is like losing 100 militias or 50 SAA with active duty. Syrian High Command can’t wait that much. Turkey supports the IS, almost secretly, but we are not fooled. Does the snake bite the hand that feeds it? Maybe if it has a head of its own. But most likely the head listens to the Turkish MIT service. We heard similar threat claims before – taken “diplomats”, endangered tombs, threats in Turkey. It was used to explain why Turkey can not fight ISIS. So I advise to not take Turkey so serious. If they think that they must suddenly fight IS, let them show how good they are doing that.

I see the nusayri regime is up to its usual trick of sneakingly coordinating with the group that calls itself ‘state’, the one led by the mutinous traitor who calls himself ‘Baghdadi’, this time in al-hasakah city. Syrian Alawite troops are preparing to sell out the Kurds and hand the city over to the takfiris. The Kurds are stupid for trusting the alawites, it’s like trusting a snake. The Kurds are the biggest traitors among the Muslims anyway. They are either Jew-lovers or communists, no wonder they have never had their own land. As I always say to my kurdi… Read more »

True Muslims do not transgress against innocent people. You should not judge Muslims by the actions of takfiri, khawarij, groups like ISIS. The Muslims in Syria have shown remarkable restraint given the constant murderous provocation of the sectarian alawite regime. We do not massacre civilians every day like the assadites. You should try and find some sort of morality, you will stand before your creator one day and you will be asked about the pleasure you felt when Muslim women and children are killed. This is true. The Jews are crafty and know that if their enemies are all fighting each other and weakening each other it’s good in the short term as they won’t be attacking the zionists.

But the Jews would much rather the pussycat assad in charge of Syria. The assadites have huffed and puffed about the zionists for decades but done absolutely zip, nada, zero to hurt them.

That will change if the Muslims or the takfiris take over.

ISIS seems to be aiming at two things:

– Taking over Kawkab vulcano and base
http://i.imgur.com/R2tCvGA.jpg

– Moving straight into the center of Hasakah city and dividing up the SAA forces.

If they ae able to enter Hasakah city… then I predict a rapid collapse of SAA forces. Kurds might take over some positions.

If they can keep ISIS out of the city… then things should be fine.

Playtime Over, the War Begins!

The next deployment to Syria will be from Hizbullah Iraq and the Mahdi Army. They are currently involved in military operations near Ramadi and across Anbar Province in Iraq. They will take part in a joint Syrian-Iraqi operation that will drive from the Iraqi border to Palmyra. This force is 70,000 strong and highly trained.

Russia is supplying Syria with advanced surface-to-surface missiles and other “non export” weaponry. Russia will not be sending technicians or troops. Yes, Russia is selling, not giving weapons.
