LATAKIA: Major military developments here. The Syrian Army has recently cleansed the whole area of Ruwaysat Karm Al-Burj on both sides of the Al-Ya’rubiyya Latakia–Aleppo Highway. This route also leads directly into Jisr Al-Shughoor and allows the SAA and its allies to further tighten the noose around the rodents still clinging precariously to Kinsibba. Clearing out this highway will make troop transport much safer and effective. I have traveled this route many times when leaving the Sulaymaaniyya Quarter in Aleppo heading for the town of Slinfeh which is my wife’s home town.
Baraadoon Bridge and Baraadoon Mountain: All buildings, their extensions and public utilities have been liberated here. The SAA is combing the area for IEDs as I write. Another report indicates the SAA is cleaning out 3 train tunnels which were fortified by the rodents. The aim is to start using the railroad to transport more troops to the Jisr Al-Shughoor front.
These areas are newly liberated:
Nawwaara Village near the Turk border
Al-Kaaroora Village and all hills
The SAA and PDC suffered no casualties in liberating these areas.
Tal Maksoor Village: Liberated yesterday from ISIS in the northeastern rural area. The SAA’s engineers are now combing the village for IEDs.
‘Afash Village: Liberated after the SAA’s numbing artillery shelling of ISIS positions forcing the rodents to hurry away
Abu Dhanna Village: Also liberated after artillery softened ISIS positions ahead of an infantry assault.
Rasm Al-‘Alam: SAA and PDC entered this town and seized 5 pickups with 23mm cannons and invaded a fully loaded command-and-control center.
Tannooza Village in the eastern rural countryside: Liberated from ISIS. All 22 rodents were killed.
Al-‘Aamiriya in the Al-Dhamaan area: Southeast rural area. An Alqaeda/Nusra nest was destroyed killing 6 rodents. The SAA confiscated a large cache of weapons and ammo.
Heavy fighting reported in these areas of Aleppo City:
Al-Raashideen Block 4
Hayyaan (SAA artillery blasts Nusra positions astride the international highway.
Kafr Takhaareem Village: 30 kms northwest of the city. The Syrian Army trapped a group belonging to Kateebat Al-Furqaan, a branch of Ahraar Al-Shaam, killing all these:
‘Abdul-Kareem Shihaab (Rat leader)
Baheej Mahmoud Rustum
Ameer Sulaymaan Al-Soosoo
Maazin ‘Abdul-Ilaah Karraam
Another 6 were not identified.
Saraaqib Bridge: While cleverly preparing an IED near the bridge, somebody pushed the wrong button injuring these rodents:
Mork (Var: Al-Mawrik): Jund Al-Aqsaa took a hit here courtesy of the SAAF.
Al-Sayyaad: Ditto for Ittihaad Al-Islami li-Ajnaad Al-Shaam.

Hans Hellfer tells us about the “moderate” FSA in the South. Another good piece for propaganda addicts. Good article:
