HAMA: Al-Qaeda/Nusra, a creation of the United States and Saudi Arabia, is trying to regain a foothold north of Hama in an effort to block SAA advances into Idlib Province, the only area the Turk murdering terrorists believe the rats can hold as a bargaining chip with Dr. Assad’s government. It’s not working, at all.
Today, at dawn, Damascus time, a large grouping of convoys emerged from Sawraan and fanned out toward the following villages: Ma’aan, Tayybat Al-Ism, Al-Sha’ta, Kiraam, Al-Raay Mountain, all of which were protected by units of the Popular Defense Committees (NDF). Villagers and informants played a crucial role in alerting the armed forces to the attack which started at 4:30 a.m. and included 13 Toyota pickups with 23mm cannons, 5 armored cars given by the British and 21 vans loaded with rats. No sooner had the news of the attack been reported than brigade strength units of the SAA arrived, with ranger platoons armed with Kornets and RPGs, prepared for action. SAAF flying Hind helicopter gunships took to the air and bombed the mobile rat army sufficiently so as to halt its progress.
By 10:30 a.m., the rodent army had withdrawn to its original positions having sacrificed 77 rodents, 4 pickups with cannons and one armored car.
Here are the only Syrians identified after field assessment:
