AL-RAQQA:  If you want to know why the sudden Western Media blitz about inveigling the United States in another foreign war, this time Syria, look at the battlefield where all U.S. terrorist allies are being decimated by the hundreds.  If it isn’t Der’ah in the South, it’s Aleppo in the North.  The U.S., the true criminal in this war against the people of Syria, is finding its plans, as effectuated by the miserable syphilis-carrying spook, Robert Ford, crumbling like a house of cards.  And talking about Ford, the imbecile extraordinaire, he just published an article in the discredited neo-nonsense website called the Daily Beast, about how the middle-level employees at the State Department are right about demanding an American assault on Dr. Assad’s army to slow down the quickening attrition rate among the most prized Islamist cannibals.  Ford, as I wrote earlier, is behind the entire wave of cowardly campaigns to ignite another war for the U.S. in a distant country.  But, be that as it may, it doesn’t change what’s happening on the ground.  The Syrian Army has advanced over 70kms during the last 72 hours.

Al-Thawra Oil Field and all residential areas around it:  This area was liberated yesterday with all ISIS cockroaches flushed out and killed.  Once again, we find the structure of ISIS military units based on ethnicity since that insures a greater ability to communicate.  In this case, the SAA has confirmed killing 27 Uzbekis and wounding many more in the attack on their positions here.  The SAA also seized or destroyed 4 pickup trucks with 23mm cannons aboard.  As I write, SAA engineers are dismantling whole rows of IEDs and land mines the insects installed along all roads leading into this area.

We reported this yesterday.  The SAA Special Operations Units commandeered an entire weapons depot belonging to ISIS here in southwestern Al-Raqqa, on the outskirts.

High temperatures this year coupled with terrain resembling that of the Gobi Desert has slowed down the advances of the Syrian military.  Even dust storms have curtailed some operation in the air.  In general, however, the army and air force are conducting operations very precisely and stealthily, decimating ISIS infrastructure and fortifications.

For those who are interested in all matter Uzbeki, the SAAF has struck at Tabqa City and destroyed close to 6 whole areas occupied by mostly Uzbeks.  Reports of casualties are vague at this time, but, it is also clear that the United States is deeply disturbed by the successes of the Syrian Army.

Anbaaj-Zakiyya-Dayr Haafir Axis:  On the road to Atharayyaa and Al-Tabqa, the SAA has thwarted an attempt by ISIS to attack SAA field positions.  In the process, the Syrian Army has destroyed several vehicles and seized weapons and ammunition.

Al-Habbaari Oil Field:  The SAA is about to totally liberate this area from collapsing ISIS defenders.  Reports indicate huge terrorist losses to the SAAF.

Rajm Al-Shaykh:  South of Al-Rusaafa.  Very violent encounters between SAA/PDC and ISIS rodents.  We can confirm 32 carcasses with large stores of weapons and ammunition confiscated.

ALEPPO:

الجيش

At the border between Aleppo and Idlib, Jaysh Al-Fath took a real drubbing from the SAA yesterday with an admitted 169 rats killed, 5 tanks destroyed and a whopping 34 pickups armed with 23mm and 14.5mm cannons.  This is a report from the terrorists themselves.  You wanna know why the American-Zionist rodents are scared?

Hard to believe the Russians haven’t bombed them yet….but maybe Putin is waiting for them to spend a lot of money to get equipment there- and then bomb it.

This does not seem as bad-tho bad- as portrayed–The link led me to the article and it is an SOHR REPORT—————–and it has spread all over the net— The Syrian Observatory reported on Monday that the regime has been forced to 40km from Tabqa airport after previously being only 7km away from it. Fearing losing Tabqa – and the regime successfully securing a foothold in Raqqa for the first time since August 2014 – ISIS poured hundreds reinforcements into that key town from Raqqa city. The Observatory estimates that 40 of the regime forces were killed, including an officer, while… Read more »

arab commanders have absolutely no idea of how to fight war, much less use combined arms in a cohesive and constructive manner. one of the problems that was talked about , to them by the iranians is that they should treat their soldiers with respect and they may fight better. but so far no dice. so the syrians leave and let someone else fight and die for their country. that’s right. go to europe and kick back and watch it on tv .

The events in Raqqa province show once more, what the real NWO goals and the strategy are. They organize a mass-“migration” of ISIS from the North to government controlled parts of Syria. The same human trash, which gets pushed out from Manbij and other parts of the North by pro-West forces, either through force or through “convincing”, is flowing now to alliance areas. Earlier, Erdoghan allowed them to reside close to the Turkish border and offered them much comfort and aid. But these confused creatures know very well that since their NWO masters now try to occupy Syria directly, they… Read more »

It seems, the easy victories on the way to Raqqa, were actually a ruse by ISIS to give the Syrian forces a sense of overconfidence, and as a result stretch their lines of communications and supply. I have no doubt now, that ISIS is receiving constant satellite information on the Syrian forces from the usual suspects. There is no way these head choppers have the strategic thinking to plan and execute these numerous counter-attacks and troop re-locations on their own. Also, its almost criminal that all Syrian units don’t have numerous drones constantly scanning the skies for surprise ISIS /… Read more »

Russian reporter states that ISIS flanking maneuver was a kamikaze style, 2 to 1 in numbers.
I must admit it is a dumb act (being a regular army) to find yourself in a such position in the open desert.
If SAA didn’t have resources why the heck did they advance at all.
Fighting on a open desert should be carried out as fast as possible and constant with rotating troops.

Perhaps there’s Rommel embedded with ISIS ?

THIS IS SERIOUS SHIIIT—SAA must be really stretched thin–Remember last yr–a few times–one in @ Dier Az–and another at an airport field-that dust storms formed negating air cover and heavy loses and terrain lost. This here seems ripe for that to happen again………….

———————————————————————————————————————-
According to a military source at the T-4 Airport in west Palmyra, the Russian Air Force conducted over 20 airstrikes since Monday night. These airstrikes have proven to be a saving grace for the Syrian Arab Army’s 60th Brigade of the 11th Tank Division, as they are outnumbered almost 2-to-1 in east Palmyra.

R, they really are stretched pretty thin and the sad part is that all of those MILLIONS of Syrian “refugees” COULD and SHOULD be BACK in Syria fighting for their country which would replace all of the losses of the SAA and also give them the manpower to increase their fighting force to end this conflict sooner!!! But as usual, we have the FEW that is sacrificing for the MANY and after all is said and done, the MANY will be coming back waving the flag and proclaiming how THEY saved their country!!!

Time for bullshit has passed, either put up or back off.

At this point without Iran’s serious in ground intervention and Russia’s full support they won’t come close to Aleppo or Raqqa.

On the other side NATO, US and Turkey are probably building a formidable force to enter as soon as Iran would send their army.

You can’t fight with proxies forever.

Comes a point where the big daddies need to square off.

Looks like we have our “answer’ as to WHY the Russians and coalition forces have been so erratic lately and it seems to be that they have been trying to get their “partner” Washington, to give them a list of “good terrorists” and that hasn’t been forthcoming. So, now we wait and see if the Russians just bomb the hell out of everyone and await the US response.

Stein With respect, in defence of Mao (and China at that time) ….. Please keep in mind that: – A youth throws a stone at a tank because that’s all he’s got. – The first ‘suicide-bombers’ blew themselves up because they had no weapons to match the well armed security forces they opposed. – China at the time of Korean war lacked the modern weaponry to match the western forces arrayed against them. Was not criticizing Mao at all Korea was a brilliant campaign against the US army which had air superiority hence Chinese losses. But losses very high and some sources say Korea may have lost uptowards 1/3 of civilian population. Mao has a record of not giving a shit about such things all the way from the long march and his last 20 years in power were disastrous for China. Absolutely, both Korea and Tibet were attempts by the central bank empire to get bridgeheads into mainland China for destabilization or proxy war, and Mao recognized the existential threat. The PPC Army showed its worth there.

In Tibet it was a total failure of intelligence for the US as they had gotten rid of all competent China experts.

Oh, you ‘Doom and Gloom’ posters There seems to be some confusion about whose forces have suffered most in the reported ‘setbacks’ during the advance on Raqqa. For example, the reported seizure by ISIS of several villages including Manbij. This ‘assault’ was on US-backed forces (NOT SAA) – Their achievement (LOL), they killed some residents of 2 villages. The SDF – a Kurdish-Arab alliance with air support from the U.S.-led coalition – encircled Manbij nearly 10 days ago. Interestingly, a commenter, Ghubar Shabih, takes a different view and uses public statements by Ford to argue that Ford wasn’t pushing for violent regime change. Probably Ford was saying one thing privately to the stupid anti-Assadites and another to the public. The public statements of Ford almost seem reasonable. QUOTE: What ‘B’ [moon of alabama editor] says about the history in 2011 is wrong. Here is a quote from Robert Ford in an interview with TIME magazine on 28 September 2011. I think that Ford’s “let’s leave it to the Syrians to sort out” was said at a time when it was plausible – in support of their secret plans to overthrow Assad. The USA was pretending it had nothing to do with it. Had the terrorist-opposition won at that stage Ford would have stuck to this line “well, there we go, we always said they could sort it out among themselves”. Fast forward to today, when most recognise that USA and usual suspects were behind the whole insurrection from day one. The rhetoric is no longer “they can sort it… Read more »

@pm, Interesting view, but I judge Ford & Co by what they did, not by what two-faced tripe came out of their lying mouths. Obama spent the whole winter of 2010-2011 ringing up Erdogan EVERY DAY, and he wasn’t enquiring about the weather in Ankara. Robert S. Ford is a war criminal and enemy of humanity, a pupil of John Negroponte aka The Ambassador Of Death, at whose feet Ford sat in Baghdad, plotting the torture spree known as the Sunni Awakening. Look folks, this IS a war, and there will be setbacks, now i dare say the terrorists have plans to maybe rope in the SAA and slaughter them, when attacking the enemy you can see if they are forcing you to do what they want to anihalate you then you pull back, that or if things aren’t going to plan you pull back anyway, the SAA etc are NOT suicide fighters, you CANNOT go full steam ahead and lose so many men as was in the old old days, these days you have to survive to fight another day. I agree – The ‘liquidity’ of modern warfare is astonishing – World opinion can influence ‘military operations’ in the blink of an eye and there are so many other variables !

It’s all about how any given forces ‘tactics’ are perceived in the public ‘eye’ and whether or not it is ‘spinnable’ for public consumption !

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), supported by Russian warplanes, has taken control of the Al Thawrah oil field from the ISIS terrorist group in the province of Raqqa. Now, pro-government forces are advancing on Al Hawrah, paving the way to the Tabaqa military airport. On June 18, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (70-80% Kurdish YPG units), supported by the US-led “anti-ISIS coalition” airpower, launched a military operation, aiming to enter the ISIS-controlled city of Manbij in northern Syria. Following a series of firefights, the SDF seized al-Kateb Roundabout, Qanāt ash Shaykh and the Manbij hospital. Separately, US air strikes destroyed… Read more »

Have a look at any current Syrian map and you will see that it’s impossible for any army to cover that much land adequately. Even the Roman army, a formidable fighting force if there ever was any, got slaughtered on occasion [Germanic campaigns]. It has to be noted though, that there is a lot of incompetence among the rank and file of the SAA. I see video clips of [Syrian] men dying unnecessarily in attacks that simply could be avoided. Men grouping together out in the open, less than a mile from the front lines, getting hit by a US… Read more »

“Remember Kissinger we create our own reality . But Russia and Terhan said we dont think so.” The tide of war turned in 2013, when NATzO warships were lined up on Syria’s coast – ready to destroy Damascus. A nuclear-ready Israeli sub (gift of Germany) was given the honor of firing the opening salvo. The Israeli missile headed toward Damascus but went off course because a nearby Russian warship jammed its electronics. Israeli sub fired a second missile, same result cruise missile cruised its nose into the sea. Said Israel “Those two missiles, we were only kidding. Let this be… Read more »

Daniel: So far as I know, SAA and partners only have RPGx and Kornets which work really well either down the throat of up the skirt, but a full deflection shot at a speeding vehicle? I don’t know. Since recruits are being cycled through as quickly as possible, I suspect that they go right from boot camp to battle, with no AIT at all. Ark, i don’t think it’s that bad, but your points are valid, however i will not criticize the fighting men , but yes i do think that the Syrian leadership in general do not have the will to win, and this is going to have some real repercussion on the president, the president have some real hard thinking to do.

didnt mean to be nagging, now I saw Canthama’s answer to my identical post above.s (busy) Yes, let’s wait for developments — but how the hell can this force be stopped by a handful of VBIEDs and a much smaller opposing force? What happened was they managed to panic and scatter the SAA ‘shield’ round the Russians so they came in fire contact i.e heavy fire from IS as they stood their ground as Russians will do. Much more support is needed in the face of the new IS tactic with small fast VBIEDs as they don’t have weapons like… Read more »

On Tuesday, Islamist rebels shot down a Syrian plane, the second such incident in less than a month, and captured the pilots. The Jordanian army said in a statement that the bombing struck near a military checkpoint in al-Rukban area near border with Syria. The statement described the bombing as a “cowardly act”, vowing to pursue the kingdom’s fight against terrorism. There has been no claim of responsibility for the attack. Mr. Solzhenitsyn was heir to a morally focused and often prophetic Russian literary tradition, and he looked the part. With his stern visage, lofty brow and full, Old Testament beard, he recalled Tolstoy while suggesting a modern-day Jeremiah, denouncing the evils of the Kremlin and later the mores of the West. He returned to Russia and deplored what he considered its spiritual decline, but in the last years of his life he embraced President Vladimir V. Putin as a restorer of Russia’s greatness.

R, if the truth be told, they were probably wounded/killed by Russian/SAAF bombs by being implanted within ISIS forces!!! Might be one reason why the USAF is interfering with Russian bombing missions on which I posted earlier on this forum. Reason being is WHY would ISIS be “attacking” US forces when they get paid, trained, and supplied by the CIA and US military!!!??? I wouldn’t believe anything the US gov’t stated, proven liars, traitors, and back stabbers. Yah at Dover airforce base where US dead troops are returned, they no longer land the planes during the day they land at nights now where visibility is limited and the body count obscured, and yes US troops injured in Iraq or Afghanistan but died in hospital in Germany are not considered war death. What a croc of shit eh/ And the American people just swallow it.

personally i am a bit disappointed that neither russia ,Syria or iran does not take advantage of the Yemen theatre to bleed off the Saudis and Qataris more, much more, the Allies need to expand the war on Syria laterally and yemen is ideal, a whole new full blown front in Yemen should tie down and bleed off the jackals , besides yemen is right next door to KSA an ideal forward base, besides the Yemenis could really really use the Help.

I do not know why the Yemeni even negotiate with these demons Leroy, do you know that terrorist USSA landed a small army in the Gulf of Aden? In the interest of ‘Protecting the Gulf for shipping’, that sounds a lot like freedums and demon-cracy. 3 Apache helicopters were brought down last week as well. Yemen should get these demons out for sure, I agree, open a huge front to bleed the jackals dry, they should aim for the oil refineries as well. @Rift , i suspect the US troops sent to Yemen is meant to prevent the yemenis from resupplying via Iran by Submarine, the Yemeni missile force is no Joke, they are very effective and accurate, they pretty much wipe out the Saudi Navy, they destroyed 14 ships in less than a year and they are domestically making a version of the Iranian Fajr5 tactical missile. They drove Blackwater out of KSA because of the very high casualty rate and they forced UAE and Bahrain to withdraw, these guys are true warriors who deserve to get some real help, Syria needs… Read more »

Leroy, great idea but as I posted above, there is just too much that doesn’t make sense in this war in Syria. The planning is not up to a real professional military, it seems to be “one step at a time” which is suicidal!!! You HAVE to have MANY steps planned ahead and the means to execute them, and plans have to be made in advance for any losses. The execution seems to be piecemeal too, take two steps forward, slide 3 back!!! I can only hope that there really is a method to the madness of Syria/Russia/Iran and that… Read more »
